So, how's that New Year's resolution working for ya?

I bet you didn't expect this discussion! It's not even January! But that doesn't mean you're off the hook. I'm sure all of you have broken your New Year's Resolutions by now! I didn't make any. I think I am perfect the way I am, despite my flaws! Plus, I couldn't think of anything that would be easy enough. I wouldn't want to do something that takes effort! No way! How about you?

I have never made a New Years Resolution. As a child I used to see the adults around me make them, then break them right away, and I wondered why anyone would do such a thing. Why make a resolution that you know you aren't going to keep?

I think a great resolution to start with would be to stay alive, and then when you get the joy of accomplishing that, move on to bigger and better things!

I don't make New Year's resolutions so I don't have to worry about breaking them. I don't consider myself perfect by a long shot, but why put the added stress into my already stressful life? If there is something I want to do like lose weight, I will do it when I feel like it, not because of some promise I made to myself way back in January.

I never even made one last year, other than trying to do more for myself. And I do that.

Hi Sheepie, No I don't believe in making New Year's resolution, because I always break it, and if I want to give up something then I will do it anytime of the year, and I'm perfect the way I am too. Tamara

Resolutions are things I make on a daily basis. I don't need new years to try and change myself. To be sure, I need to change everyday because my yesterday's self sucks-to-the-core. Cheers!!

I didn't make any, I never keep them. I did resolve to try to live a little healthier and I'm doing that but it was nowhere near to being a resolution, just a thought. I don't mind effort but it has to be realistic. I know I'm not going to become a work-out freak so I won't make it a resolution.
