it depends on WHICH company u r dealing with.. that is to say ,companies dealing with customers on the web , is just like files dealing with ur system in a present of an AntiVirus .. with certified signatures company is virus free .. new company with no security certification , is just a new virus that is objected to be suspended in a blink of eye & so is the infected file (ur credit that u gave away to that company)

I have bought from Ebay hundreds of times. Some small things and some larger expensive things like computers etc. I have never had any problems either buying or selling stuff. I always check out sellers feedback though. I think it wise to do this.

Yes, I believe it's safe. Ebay is legitimate so I find no problem purchasing via e-bay. To avoid getting fooled, don't just trust a site. Do your online purchasing with trusted ones like e-bay, amazon and the likes.

It is completely safe if you use paypal. Paypal usually always sides with the buyer in a dispute and you have up to 60 days to ask for your money back. Sending money orders and using Western Union is really risky. You may not receive your product, but you can't get your money back either

till date i have purchased few items from Futurebazaar and I have to say they are real good with the quality of the product an also delivers the products on time.. While buying something online do a proper research on the sellers past performance records and also see the terms and conditins for clauses like returning the products in case it doesn't meet your need or is delivered in a damaged conditions..

I have shopped on line in all kinds of stores from large places like Borders books, to auction sites like eBay, and I have never had a problem. The occasional fraudster will rip off a credit card number, but that happens off line as well. It happened to my grandfather at the gas station once, and another friend of mine in a local book store. There are risks in everything, but all in all, online shopping including eBay is pretty safe. I am going to do all of my Christmas shopping on eBay this year.

I make sure that the site I am buying from is secure. I have never had any issues with purchases I have made in the past.

My daughter uses ebay all of the time. She purchases all of her clothes, well not all but most, through ebay. She has never had a problem and has always received the things she bought. She uses my paypal account since she doesn't have one and she just gives me the money and I put it into my bank account and then transfer it to my paypal account. She did have a slight problem once with ebay but it got resolved. She purchased two tops and a belly button ring that after weeks did not come to our house. Well, after about three weeks I got a phone call from my sister in law that there were three packages at her house, addressed to me. She lives in another city, one I used to live in, and so she had to send them to me, which cost more money. What happened is, the person who my daughter bought the items from, lost our address. So she checked our address on my paypal account and sent the items there. Since she only had my name on my paypal account she sent them to me. I forgot to change my address in paypal when I moved so they had my old address. So they sent them to my old address, which was my sister in laws address. I was living with her. So we notified paypal about it and sent them a copy of the stamps she had to put on the packages, and paypal reinbursed my account for the amount of the stamps, which was just under $5.00. I thought that was really nice of paypal and I am sure the person who owns the store got charged from paypal for it.

Hi nutanjain, I wouldn't trust any other sites but ebay, because you hear a lot of horrors strories about people losing their money and not getting the goods or the right good that they wanted in the first place, so be very careful. Tamara

Online purchasing is safe. My husband bought me a new mobile phone online and it is in good condition. When it comes to the brand it is original and you in cases there are problems you can always go to an outlet near your area. The convenience of buying stuff online is that you no longer have to fall in line when your paying and you have lots of choices when it comes to the color and design. Just be sure that the site where you purchased your product has a good reputation so you wont have to worry about counterfeit item

I have purchased many things online including Digital Cameras too, but I don't think that purchasing on Ebay will be safe because, the goods are sold by users themselves and so they can Cheat You! Purchase from a Safe Online Site which has a SSL Security like Verisign Secured Sites.
