what on earth is chocolate?

oh,my friends on mylot.at first please excuse me my ignorance. i really do not what on earth chocolate is?i know that a lot of eating things is made up of chocolate.such as cholocate sugar,cholocate bread,chocolate milk etc.but i would like know what its chemical composition is?why it was so popular all over the word?please talk your views about chocolate.wish you happy.good mylot.

don't apologize for not knowing something- the only way to learn is to ask! lol well, i know that chocolate is made from cacao beans, which are taken from cacao trees. i looked on wikipedia and it says that regular, milk chocolate is made from sugar, cocoa butter, milk and vanilla. i guess the cocoa butter is what is made from the cacao bean. chocolate is popular i guess just because it tastes so good. it is also said to have a ton of different health benefits, as well as act as an aphrodisiac. i hope that helped! :) if you go to wikipedia.com and search "chocolate" you can read all about it. it's actually quite interesting. :)

I think you explained it well. Personally, I don't care how it's made, I just know that I love it. It's its own food group to me, although, I don't think the government food people (whoever they are) would agree with me. I think I eat some sort of chocolate every day. Today it was a scoop of chocolate icecream for dessert.

i love it too! i usually eat some kind of chocolate every day as well- tonight it was hot chocolate with marshmallows. :)

Hello wangkai, i hope i can any idea about this kind of food, every corner you will found lot of chocolate but i dont have any reason to say just i love them to eat.

i dont know how to explain it so i figured i would give a link.. it comes in so many forms and fashions that i wouldnt know where to begin.. there is candy.. cake.. drink.. color etc..
