There are people who choose to remain unmarried despite the fact that they have experienced to love and be loved by someone. If its so wonderful to have someone with you when you grow old, why do you think there are people who choose being unmarried the rest of their lives?

I prefer being alone. Some people are just introverts. I can't even imagine having a husband and kids to take care of. I like other people's kids, though. ;) I just like being alone whenever possible. That is just how I am. :)

I am growing old and I do live alone. I have been married and I have known love. I'm grateful for those I have loved and for all the wonderful memories. For the first time in my adult life I'm not always thinking of someone else and putting their happiness before my own. I am free to be me and I enjoy every moment of life. I never feel lonely, and I enjoy my privacy. I can be and do whatever I want with my life now. I have no-one to answer to. I can make all my own decisions. I don't know if I will always be alone, but I am happy to be by myself. If love comes to me again, I will probably not reject it, but I believe I shall still have a full life, and I can grow old, full of contentment, on my own.

Maybe because some people are really a loner . They dont want someone to take of or to take care of them. They are more happy and more complete alone without having to think of someone else .
