When was the last time you visited your dentist?

Wow, that was more than ten years ago. I always take care of my teeth and at my age, I could still use them to bite the hard guava. I brush my teeth regularly and I brush my teeth after eating sweets. Teeth are very important and can't be replaced once they are decayed. So it's better to opt for prevention rather than cure. Who wants to wear those artificial teeth? I hate them and I'm praying that I won't have them.

I have never actually stopped and thought about the last time I went to see the dentist but I remember when I was a kid my mother made me go every six months to get a checkup, and I hated going, because I hated getting my teeth scraped because it was uncomfortable and it was about as bad as nails on a chalkboard,I would say the last time I went to the dentist was before I turned eighteen because I do not think I have been to a dentist since I became an adult.

At least once a year do a dental check up, (correct period is every six months) without your knowledge you will end up with periodontitis, because at the initial stages of periodontitis you may not notice the bleeding gums, redness of the gums or smelly mouth. If you pay the correct visit to the Dentist she/he will look after your oral hygiene. There are special methods of brushing, different types of tooth brushes, medicated tooth pastes which can be used to look after oral hygiene at different ages. In addition to that if you are a Diabetic, your Dentist will look after you with special oral care. Apart from improving oral hygiene your Dentist will advice you to do other oral treatment which is needed to up keep your oral hygiene for the protection of the teeth.

Hi Masmasika, as far as I could remember the last time I visited the dentist was four months back. I went there for tooth filling as the filling of a tooth done few years ago had come off, so I had to refill it again. Without the filling I always felt pain when eating sour foods or iced drinks. I was afraid that the tooth would corrode faster if I didn’t have it filled in time. It was rather unpleasant when doing the filling especially when drilling was done. posting and take care.

Ive been to the dentist 5 years ago. About 15 years ago I fell out of a tree on top of my friend. I broke one front tooth and chipped 2 others. The dentist fixed the teeth and the decay started slowly and unobtrusively. The end result is that my four front teeth were extracted and I never put in false dentures. Why? I can play the clarinet must better without my front teeth.

i cannot remember..hahaha well, i guess that was a yearago when i had my my dentist clean my cavity and put a filling into my teeth so that it wont get so bad that he'll have to pull it out..hahaha i went to the dentist several times two years ago when i had a very bad tooth ache and he had to pull my teeth.. that was one of the saddest experience in my life.. i have nice set of teeth but i dont know how to care for them very well, as a consequence, that's what i got.. but that has been a great deal of a lesson for me.. i make sure they're very clean. i dont want to go through that ordeal ever in my life.. nothings more painful than a toothache!hehehe

6 months ago my answer would have been over 10 yrs...but i decided to get my behind into the dentist, and well now im there all the time. I mean i always brushed and flossed, but nver went for cleanings or checkups. I went 6 months ago because i had a tooth chip and well i decided i wnated to get it "fixed". Long story short i found out i still had a babytooth..lol yes im 35 and still had a baby tooth, the adult tooth is impacted above it, but never gave me any problems. I ended up with two teeth pulled, have two molars to still get pulled, have had deep cleanings done, and now have 3 fillings to do. Not really as bad as it could have been after 10 yrs without going, but still lot of work. I go Dec 30 for my next cleaning but plan to get the fillings and things done before that.

Three months ago! I wouldn't say that I'm that keen on visiting the dentist but then again, I look upon it as an essential thing to do. I don't want to start losing my teeth in old age, and so I can tolerate the infamous drill once every six months! I too brush my teeth regularly. I used to brush them about three times per day, once after every meal. I have now reduced this to brushing twice daily. Artificial teeth are a no no for me! I dread them and I find it really horrible when you see some of these old people placing their false teeth in a glass of water! I don't want to end up like that! Happy brushing! Andrew

I seem never to see any dentist. I don't think there is anything wrong with my teeth, I can bite something hard. I usually brush my teeth after each meal. If I am asked to wear those ugly artificial teeth, I won't dare to face people who will maybe look at me with a strange look and laugh at me as if I were a monster.

Whew! that was 6months ago before I left Philippines. I wanted to go to a dentist again hopefully soon. I don't like false teeth..haha. Maybe I am just afraid to have it. I am just lucky coz I never had any toothache problems, as what I remembered.

I have not been to dentist for over 6 years since my free dentist visit offer ended. Before that I used to have annual check ups and I have never found to have any problem with my tooth. So I think if I clean my tooth regularly as usual, it's still alright if I do not go to them for annual checking. Oh yes, I did went there two years ago to remove my wisdom teeth though. I actually do not like visiting them as I hate the noise from those equipments and the taste of blood in my mouth after the cleaning.
