Remember when you were little and you're parents fought that they end of deciding to separate? I have my piece of that and my papa made me choose between him or my mother. I was confused because I don't want to hurt his feelings but I'm pretty sure I wanna be with my mom so I told him politely I wanna be with my mother. Thank God they got back together but the experience of choosing is absolutely hard. If you are made to choose between your parents, who will you choose?

I chose my mother. My father is a worthless jerk.

Sad to hear your father's a jerk. Well it his lost because he is unable to appreciate the beauty of his family.

I'm not sure what you mean by that?

I think if you don't see the beauty of having a family, that makes you incapable of seeing God's gift to you. I assume since you consider you're father as worthless jerk, he doesn't give his family the love he should be giving. :D

I remember the day my parents decided to split up, I was only two years old, and I remember it so vividly in my mind. I was sitting in my booster seat and I was screaming for my favorite cereal, and while that was happening it was kind of chaotic because my parents were talking about divorce, I don't know why I remember that word so well, I didn't know what it meant, but I knew it was something big. It's weird, I have no other memories of my parents together, only their separation, so I have no idea what it was like for them to love each other, I can't remember that at all, so the only image I have of my once married parents together was when they were splitting. I love both of my parents, but because I am a woman I have more of a bond with my mother, and of course I grew up in her household and my father was the secondary home that I did not stay in very much, from being with my mother so long I am just closer to her.

Well I'm sad to hear that you have no memories of your family is intact. But I'm glad you don't seem to have any grudge against them for splitting up. Girls usually choose their moms. A mother's love is above all kinds love.

That is a tough decision for any child to have to make. It would have been impossible for me. I might have chosen another family member instead of one of them.
