Why when I am busy.... .....

Does it seem that everything is on go slow? I am sitting here waiting patiently for my parents to turn up, I thought to myself that I would just try to clear my email inbox out as it is building up with junk. But that looks impossible as the email box seems to be running at the most amazingly slow speed which means a quick job will turn into an hour long or more job! It is so frustrating!!!
When you are busy does this happen to you?

In the mornings after I am ready to go to work, like dressed and washed up, I sit at my computer and do some work, till it is time to leave for work. I usually come to mylot and do some postings. But of course it is slow in the mornings and I only get to post a few responses. I would like to get a head start in the mornings and post around 10 responses but usually I am able to only do about 5 because the site, or my computer, is so slow that it takes a long time for them to post.
I also like to clean up my email address that I use only for doing surveys. First I delete the ones that are only for my name in a draw, as they are a waste of time, and I keep the ones that pay money. I have in the past, tried doing one or two before going to work, but most of the time I found I couldn't finish it before I have to leave, so I leave them now for when I get home.
I have little patience when the computer is soo slow that most of the time now, when I find it to be slow, I just leave the computer and come back later and hopefully it will have sped up by then. I get too frustrated to work on the computer when it is slow so I have given up trying.

I don't get mad anymore because it happens so much these days. I just leave the site for awhile and come back later. It seems to quicken up later.

It drives me up the wall when my computer is running slow, you should see me, I threaten it, shout at it and even stamp my feet at it!

yes and i just run around like a chicken! some days im so worried i'll forget something because of all there is to do and i usually do

Its crazy how we seem so busy these days, there are never enough hours in a day anymore. I wish I could sleep less!

Don't feel alone it happens to me too. Everything starts to happen when I am very busy. It is very distracting too. The only thing that doesn't go slow, is the time. It speeds past me and I get way behind.

Very true...Sometimes, I will think that I am being teased by the time..LOL!
Anyway, my day is different since I have a fast connection and a lot of notifications but I am the one who moves so slow and my attention is not focused...I want to just sit down and do nothing! SOoo cold![/i]

Time is a tease, I start the day thinking "oh I have ages yet" two minutes later "pop" its gone.

yes with two daughters that get on my computer seems like I just want to get on an mylot or something an have to clean the girls pics or music
