Are you eating out less these days?

Yes. My wife and I now spend nearly 20% of our income on gas and another 55% on rent and utilities. The remaining 25% goes to groceries, car repair, medical bills... We used to go out at least twice a week. Now once a month is pushing it.

We never go out to eat, We both like to cook and stay home instead sitting in a crowded place waiting for your food.

Hello,Baby! We never go out for lunch or dinner as we don't consider beneficial to health. On the contrary the restaurant foods will cause a lot of problem for heath as well as it would drin out money from the purse.Instead we prepare our foods at home and we are quite happy with that.It is cheap as well as hygienic.thanx.

Everybody is feeling the pinch of the economic downturn. There is not so much we could do but to tighten our belt to face the challenges that befall us. The bills surpass our income, it is not getting better. There is no longer chance of accumulating wealth at this period of time. What we care most is we have enough food on our table. Like you we have drastically cut down on living on luxury like going for dinners and less travelling. We are forced to be thrifty in times of hardship like now.

We do not go out as much as before either, maybe once per week? But we do not have a car, so that is one less expense for us than other people have.

Yeah, we don't go out much often to eat or even if we do, we'd just choose the cheapest. Me, my sister and I, usually go out at least 2 times a week. We almost always have our lunch outside and we spend quite a bit. But right now, we're in a tighter situation when it comes to expenses and our funds. We just go out once a week and most of the time we just eat at home instead of eating out. Our medical expenses have tripled and we oftentimes use public transportation instead of bringing the car. The change has been really noticeable compared to around 10 or so years ago. Life ain't that easy anymore. Take care.

Hi there Bug Baby! Yes, we are eating out less these days, a lot less, actually. When we were living in Manila, we used to eat out at least once a week, usually every Sunday after hearing the mass. Nowadays, I think we only eat out at least once a month.
