AIG just got MORE money.... WHAT???????

This isn't intended to be a political discussion, rather a rant about OUR money!!!
I just heard on the news that our lovely government officials gave AIG yet ANOTHER LOAN! I AM SO PISSED!!! I can't believe that they have the nerve, the guts, to lend AIG more OUR MONEY!
My husband and I have three contracts scheduled for the rest of 2008! It take at least four per month to keep the company running and pay our own bills. No savings, no extras, skimping on everything. We have been in business since 1990 and no financial institution or THE FEDS ever helped us when we were down. The door was always shut.
Now this AIG CEO - criminal piece of shrit - has a million plus dollar party and the feds lend the company more money we do not have!!! We, the American people, will be responsible to PAY THE BILL!!! Don't hand me any BS about them paying it back either, I'll believe it when I see it!
Does everyone realize while we are taking pay cuts, our tax bill is going up?
We pay these government people, while they spend our money stupidly, so should they take a pay cut too?
I'm so angry, how about you?

I hadn't heard that AIG was given even more money, but I did hear that the money that was already given to them that several bigwigs went to a luxury resort and whooped it up, and spent 100s of thousands of dollars on pedicures, manicures, facials and messages and sauna treatments....they are being investigated by the Feds. So yup, I'm pissed off about this...gee, I wouldn't mind a nice relaxing message or facial..

hi redkathy. (my name is kathy too) i heard the same outrageous news. they are so greedy and selfish. something is severely wrong with them. but they are getting some flack about it and being confronted by the media. maybe that will help some. we'll just have to wait and see. try to relax and enjoy the good things in your life.

it's a crying shame what people like them get by with & will continue to.somebody on myot was talking about all the employees got to a flucy spa after it was over because they were all stressed, bless their hearts & that set them back a bunch to do that.

Yes, I heard that too. I saw it on the news and read it in the paper. And another thing is that right after they got the first money, they sent their executives to a fancy resort and spent thousands of money on luxury spas and food etc. That is so wrong!!
