How often to bath my dog?

How often should I bath my little dog? She gets cold easily so I always put the fire on for her to dry off. The thing is, I know bathing too often is not good. But how often is too often?!
She is a proper little mucky pup!!!!
Just to add, she's a Cavlier King Charles so her hair is fairly long (even though I keep her clipped) and being small, when she runs through puddles she gets a muddy tummy and sides, not just feet!!

for your breed dog- 6-8 weeks is good for a bath and a clip. I worked at a kennel and grooming facility and dogs that require haircuts ususally were recommend to come back 6-8 weeks.
You really shouldn't bathe too often unless it is for a medicated bath. They do require the natural oils to keep the skin moist- and washing to often will dry out their skin.
