How often do you sit down and read a book?

I read a few books a year maybe but honestly I can't say that I have read many books lately. I am reading a book series entitled "The Emigrants" and am trying to get back into reading as means to get away from the Idget Box. I do know what you mean about getting "addicted" so to speak on watching the television or surfing the internet. By the way, if you have any suggestions for books I would be happy to hear them! i really dont know how many books ive read a year, but i can say it was many, i love reading, aside from surfing the net i read a lot, especially of that of John Grisham and Sidney Sheldon's novels its just really makes my stress released out...Its my so called theraphy. HAPPY POSTING

total for the year i havent a clue. but i do read every single day for a minimum of an hour. usually 2 sometimes 3 hours. i TRY not to run out of new books to read. which means i tend to do my book shopping a couple times a year and buy 8 or more at a time lol! on the rare occasions when i dont have anything new to read i will go back to an older one i have that i dont remember so much about (which is hard to do sometimes) and read it until im able to re-fill my "new books to read" box that sits on top of my closet lol!

I think I read 1 or 2 books every year. I don't very interest in reading a book, it make my eyes quick tire, so I choose the other thing. Like watching tv or playing computer. I know that watching tv and playing computer can also make my eye tired. But reading book is little make me bore because all of the page of the book is full with sentences. I read everyday, but only because i take the bus to work. So i read and then at lunch time i read also. Mosty mysteries and detective stories.

I love reading books but sad to say, due to busy schedule I don't have time to read books because it's time consuming. But when I have free time and started it, I used to read for long hours until I finished the book. I would even eat late just to finished it, specially when I was carried away with the story and so I can't to finish it.
