My mom found a list of Swapping sites in a magazine (I assume) they will let you list things you don't want online some are just DVD, VHS and CD, some swap books and some let you swap anything. Many of them give you credits for your swap and then you can use them to get something you want. I have in the past used the paperback swap site, but I am wondering how this would work for other items like clothes. I have found a couple of sites that allowing clothes swapping but neither have a great selection of stuff. So what if I swap something but then can't find anything I want? Have you participated in any kind of online swap? Would you recommend it? Be willing to try it? Give me your opinion of swap sites. btw if anyone wants a list of the sites I have found or referrals to these sites you can pm me.

I am not sure. They probably are US only. Though one of the book/dvd/cd sites included Canada.

I have not tried one of these sites...I was going to try a swapping book site but i think you have to pay shipping and handling and I would rather take my books to a used book store. So I would probably not try one. We have a website in halifax where you can go and check out free things and go and pick them up if you want we have used that before.

You do have to pay shipping on the swap sites for what you send, but people do the same for you when you request them. I just think it is cheaper than losing half price at the used book store and paperback swap has a great selection of stuff.
