What is the best way of improving your vocal chords?

I love music and I used to go along with the song I love. But, my tune is always out of the tune of the song I love. Sometimes, my friends laugh at me because I am always out of tune. I tried hard but I cannot enjoy the songs in singing. Are you a singer? How do you improve your vocal chords? Teach me... happy mylotting!

Practice and practice dude. try to learn an easy song first and then move on the tune you love. You'll have to sing the 'la la la' and not the lyric first just to make sure youre in the right tune. The most important thing is don't scream. That's not singing.

Cyndy Lauper came out here to Australia for a wek to help the artists on our Australian Idol and she was getting them to do all sorts of strange things, like blowing up about 7 balloons and blowing down a little plastic tube and doing a lot of exercises so maybe you have to do things like that, i am not sure if these things help.
