I too, have tried the "bidding for a job" I am not quite sure how it all works. It is almost like a contractor who gives a potential client his "bid for the job" what he would need to be paid for that job; his labor. I believe that is what these sites are too. You put in your bid, on what you would like to be paid, the company/person then contacts the bidder they decide to go with. I think that is how it works?!?! My suggestion is always checking out sohojobs.com. That is where I have had great success in finding companies who are hiring people to work from home. I wanted to earn a paycheck with an hourly wage, or weekly pay, and I have found it on sohojobs.com. They have a huge database of job openings with companies who hire people to work from home! Hope this helps :o) Teri K "earning income from home thanks to sohojobs.com"

Maybe you are referring to those sites that allow you to bid to get the job such as Get A Freelancer or ODesk or Elance. You bid on a certain job because usually the lowest bidder gets the job. Make sure that your bid is not too low that you won't be making any profit at all. You have to consider your electric bill, Internet service provider and other considerations you have to make. However, at the start and while you're trying to establish clientelle, you can bid lower than usual so that you can win some projects. Once you have a established clientelle, you can bid your own price because they have already known the quality and reliability of your performance. Cheers!
