Ok, maybe I'm just missing it. I watched MSNBC just about most of the day yesterday to see their take on the ACORN voter fraud story. Well, I think I found their take on it...it doesn't exist. I haven't seen one word mentioned about it at all. Now barring them saying somehting as I press the submit button, the only mention I could find was on the website and only after using the search feature, there was a story burried on the site. Come to think of it, I haven't seen any mention on CNN either. Why is this important story being ignored?

Xfahctor, Maybe some have learned the ploys that "party's" have used to make each other look bad and report the truth, only? Or could this be one of those things like Bush's military records that just disappear? I think it was fabricated hog wash to begin with. I've read some on this story and actually think that Republicans are getting worried because democrats who haven't been voting are stepping up and voting this year.

"I've read some on this story and actually think that Republicans are getting worried because democrats who haven't been voting are stepping up and voting this year." Yes, they are, apparently in multiple districts and mutliple adresses. Fraud is fraud, period, no matter who benefits from it.

Are you implying that Republicans run ACORN? Do Republicans run all the states where ACORN has been convicted of massive voter registration fraud? I think McCain said it best at the Al Smith dinner last October. "ACORN is helping to register groups previously excluded, overlooked and underserved -- second graders, the deceased, Disney characters."

Actually CNN had a big story on it yesterday. I was cooking dinner and had CNN on listening and I heard them talking about it, I didn't go watch it but, listened about it. I can't remember where they were at (which state) but, ACORN had turned in 5000 voter registration cards and 2100 of them were fake. They said that they (CNN) had contacted three different ACORN offices and they were closed now, they didn't say if they were out of "business" or just closed for the night. They were able to get ahold of the groups lawyer and he just made excuses for them. Here's the story from CNN http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/09/acorn.fraud.claims/index.html Here's one of the stories on MSNBC http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27091418/

CNN did not put a story up about it until about 10:30 p.m. ET last night. FoxNews has been covering it since early this week. They had interviews with those whose names appeared multiple times on the registration cards, interviews with the Secretary of State of the various state involved, and others. They have offered Acorn a chance to come on, but they have refused. Basically, Acorn is a left leaning organization. MSNBC has publicly stated they are biased towards the left. CNN has been known to be left leaning since the Lewinsky scandal (didn't want to beak the story to avoid embarassing the president). So, those stations don't want to do a story that would embarass another organization that leans the same way they do. They won't do the story until they absolutely have to.

I don't know about MSNBC but I stopped watching them a couple years ago because I think alot of them are out right arrogant--I can't stand Keith Olbermann, I want the news and all I got from their network was name calling. But now I'm experiencing the same thing with CNN! NOW I know how Obama got elected. I relied too heavily on CNN and didn't do enough of my homework. I mean I used Fact check and govtrack stuff like that but I failed to put it all in context and just gave Obama the benefit of the doubt--it was so good to be true, now i feel like an idiot. You know how the saying goes "Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on me...." --your right, you HAVE to look at every source these days. I think I'm going to go back to getting my sources through public television but even that you have to be careful. I wasn't thrilled a few weeks back when I saw 'Monsanto' sponsors one of the shows I watch on WHYY. Something i stopped doing through elections is watching CSPAN but what a better time than now to see what EACH senator, representative has to say themselves about the issues. No, I have not seen any stories about Acorn, but I'm usually watching CNN during the day and then 6-11 Im not, then back at 11pm. I have been really pissed with CNN in past days because the reporters insist on asking "So, IS THE PROTEST MANUFACTURED" and if anything is manufacturered its their reports. They'll throw a couple bones just do act like theirs objectivity but then back up every opposing view with false truths to make the story lean toward--YES, they are just Angry mobs! They need to just behave! Obama right now is circulating emails through his Director for Organizing for America (Director, Mitch Stewart) and in them they call anyone who opposing their viewpoints as LIARS!!

Xfahctor, Does this really surprise you? The MSM has ignored anything and everything at all to do with something that could potentially hurt their "messiah's" chances at the whitehouse! The only place you might see something about it will be on that "filthy, lying and scheming" FOX. You sure won't see it on MSM, period!

Because they do not want us to really know about it. It might hurt their side on the election. THe press has stopped being fair and balanced. The media has their own agenda and to stories that further that agenda. Why have they frozen out the third party candidates? Why are they not talking about ACORN? There is a lot of stuff they do not talk about. IF you want to know what is going on, get your news online. Because you will not get it from watching the news. I do agree that it has gotten more pronounced in the past year. They no longer care if they look biased.

They do have a story on it online at their website. But I have not seen a live story about it. Isn't ACORN the agancy that just got a huge earmark from the government?
