are the hard kind of person, when you let your soft side be seen ?

i am what you call a very hard person, i am i guess you call a rough guy kind. i stand up to anyone no matter what. if i need to take of someone i deal with it.
but i have a softer side of me, specaily when it comes to my wife, kids, neices, and nephews. and most of babie..
my friends used to laugh at me when i get around babies, how i talk to them and act. just like a big teddy bear. my neices comes over i spoil them, never say no to them. thier parents finally learn they will get cookies, or candy no matter what they say.
and i am a songwriter and most people think i write like rock music, or rap. but when they hear the songs i write they often freak out and is surpise what kind of songs i write, heart felt stuff.
are you one of those who seem to be rough and tough. a hard person, but got a softer side to you that is loving and caring and people don't how to react ?

for me that would not be surprising.... infact i like guys like you. sensitive and knows how to understand others feeling. it is fun to have a uncle like you, a friend like you and a brother like you. you walk what you talk but still has this feeling for others specially for children. the reaction of other people on what you are is very typical. they expect that a person who is macho and tough should be tough inside and out. you are like achocolate bar for some of it are tough on the outside but soft in the inside.

like you i don't let others see my soft side. people often say that i'm a hard type of person but i don't care because my friends and family know me. i'm not that showy too. i don't show others how i truly feel because i don't like to let people see me crying.=D

yeah i only allow a few choice peopel to see my softer side. i don't care what people think about me either, as long i treat and respect other well that's what's matter.

yeah it is pretty much. how i grew up u had to put on a hard shell. but it took me along time to allow the softer side to come out
