Say "Good-Bye" to Greenback Bayou!!!

Well, not literally, but at least for me (for a while, a LONG while)!
I just finished my last Greenback Bayou badge in pogo.com for the 2003 albumn. I tell you, those were horrible! I'm so glad to be done with them! There is one badge that I'll have to do for the 2006 albumn, but that's going to wait until after I get the 2004 and 2005 albumns done!
It was actually kinda funny because everyone I ran into in the rooms was only there to get an old badge finished up. I don't think anyone was there just for the fun of playing it.
What's your worst badge you had to get?

I have a really bad one that I don't think I will be able to get and that is the golf one. There is no way I can get par or better on each hole!!! I think that is what it says to do.
Congrats on your Greenback Bayou. I have all of mine finished in that boring game. Once I got started on that one I kept doing them each week as my personal to get them out of the way.

That's exactly what I did with the stupid frogs... Ugh, it was so boring, but I'm glad it's over with!
I don't care for the golf game at all. I hope there wont be many badges for it.

I am soooo not looking forward to golf! I've tried it a couple of times and I need a lot of practice if I'm going to get that badge. I'm holding off on it for now. It will probably be the last badge I do from the 2004 album. Maybe I should get a few more practice games in. LOL

YES! Way to go! I'm so happy for you that you got those out of the way.
As for the worst badge I had to get, I'm going with bowling. There was one towards the end of the year in 2006. You had to score 200 or better. It took forever to get it! I was working late into the week for that badge.

I'm not a big fan of bowling, I have a trackman mouse so it's a bit hard for that one. I just goof off with it and usually do ok...
I do love it when people give you good hints on getting the badges, that really helps with ones that aren't our favorites!

I didn't mind bowling that much, it did take awhile to get that one but I finally got it. Just a couple of weeks ago I finally got my last one for the 2007 album, didn't think I would ever get it and it was Rainy Day Spider Solitaire, I had to win 20 games on normal or higher I think it was but I finally did it. Another one that give me fits was First Class Solitaire where we had to win 3 games in a row and this week while getting my badge someone told how to get it pretty easy and I tried it and sure enough I got it.

By now, you must be missing Greenback terribly - NOT! You will be happy to know that there is a badge coming up for that game in the middle of November. I don't understand why they haven't gotten rid of that game, hardly anyone plays it unless there is a badge, or game night. Of all the games, that is right up there for the most boring.
While I usually don't mind the game itself, the one badge I haven't been able to get is the bowling one where you have to score 200 or better. The closest I got was one game that came out to 199. I wanted to cry.

One thing you can count on for badge day at that game...a LOT of grumbling! LOL..I'll be at it with the best of them. Hope to see you there!

Badge addicts seems to be a good site for pogo information and tokens. They advertize a 'Gab Dab' bingo that I've tried. I wouldn't waste time on that one. It's kind of silly, you pick a bingo game & they do all the dabbing for you. All you do is sit and watch, or chat. The tokens you win are worth basically nothing, there are a couple of drawings per month.

I think there was an Aces Up premium badge, where you had to get a certain number of Jackpot Spins. I did not have fun with that at all.
I sort of like GreenBack Bayou, and used to play just for fun, until I realized there are no ranks. So I stopped playing it.

Yeah, it's kinda a drag playing it for eons and not moving up in it like you do with the rest of them.
