How do you keep your movies?

At the moment I keep my movies that I have bought in cases inside a box. Each one is in its DVD case. I am thinking of putting just the disks in a book that way it would be easy to get a movie out and play it. I do go to the cinema if there is a great movie on. I got a leaflet and saw two movies that I might like to see. Last time I forgot but borrowed the DVD of the movie from my local library. How do you keep movies that you have purchased? Do you ever go to the cinema?

I prefer to keep my DVDs in their boxes, that way, I think, they are more safe. I also go to cinema halls to watch movies occasionally.

Hi Maximax8! I normally see movies from TV only . My sone used to bring DVD and he used to collect them and they see in the leisure time whenever they are. I am in the office anfter going home have to cook for them and then go to sleep. Rarely I see movies. That too I see only on Sundays and any other off days. Happy postiing and have a good day.

We only have a few movies that we've bought over the last two years and the disks remain in the covers on a books shelf underneath our TV. We borrow childrens dvds from the library too. We use to go to the cinema a lot but have decided to cut down on costs there too.

All of my DVDs are in their cases and we keep them in a cabinet located on our entertainment center. Keeping them in one of those books might be a good idea and you could even get tabs to organize them for even faster locating.

I am not going to a Cinema a very long time ago when I bought my own Home Theatre in the house to enjoy it more without any disturbance from other people always keep the movie that I bought but most of them is I made it by myself in one of my small business and keep it all in a place in which it is untouchable with my Daughter which is a year and 4 months old for now in my small office of the house...

i go to the cinema very often when my boyfriend is in the country, but if he is not here, i would opt to watch the movies in my computer, DVD or in my PSP.. whichever is most convenient.. well, lately, i have been watching a lot throught my psp and i just put my headset on to make the audio audible. i like it in my PSP because i can watch the movie even when i'm travelling. we have the DVD's in their cases and we have a big long rack for it.. but we have other movies in the CD book too, a lot of movies are stored there and it's very convenient and clean too.

We have a dvd rack that holds about 200+ but we have to pack up the holiday movies to have room for all of them and we keep those in a cabinet in my bedroom. We need to get something else b/c there are more movies that we will buy. Alot of the movies we own are disney movies for my girls. They get watched often so I want them to be able to go and pick which movie they want. We will see. We will actually probably wait until we move to our new house.

We go to the cinema. We buy DVDs. It is good to back up your DVDs. We, in my family, do go to the Cinema. It is a nice way to get out of the house with my family. Spending money on going to a movie seems better to me than spending money going out to eat. (Which gets fattening.) However, we are selective about the movies we go out to see. Otherwise, we wait for them to come out on DVD and rent them. We purchase good movies on DVD. This is a great idea. We have a large collection of movies to watch. We have a CD/DVD case filled with movies so it is easy to find one that our daughter wants. We also have drawers full of DVDs in their original cases if needed. It is nice to let people who come over to the house look through our collections. The DVD cases have artwork on them which sometimes spawns interest. A simple list of DVD titles might seem bland and boring by contrast. I also like the idea of backing DVDs up to secondary disks or a computer. It would seem to be a wise idea to keep an original DVD and create a backup DVD which you actually put in the DVD player. You might wind up scratching the 'copy' but the original would still be in place and you could make a new backup for viewing if, say, your daughter fingered them all up with peanut butter as she looked through the collection without asking you for permission first. Price of data storage has also dropped, so a nice one tertrabyte backup drive might be able to keep quite a number of video titles on file.. as easy to access as flipping through a listing on your computer. This also seems like a great idea, so long as you keep the original DVDs safely stored away in case your hard drive fails or if you manage to buy a backup drive to guard against hard drive failure. Unfortunately, both these uses are made difficult by the recording industry. While I have my resentments over how the RIAA does things and I do not like copy protection which limits my ability to use the movie I purchased, I have little to say in the matter. I am must a little guy and I can't really be expected to defeat DVD cryptography just to have a back up copy on hand. I think there are programs out there which might be able to help with this, but in generally I do not think that's legal and I have some reservations there.

We keep ours in books...I have several for sorting purposes. One for comedy, one for thriller, etc. Makes it so much easieer, and takes a lot less space. We go to the movies occasionally, usually when they go to a 2-nd release theater. It's only $1.00 there, while the 1st release theater is $12.00! Some movies are just better on the big screen.

I go to cinema to watch movie once in a while .Because our China have something different with you United kingdom ,we also buy DVD ,but it's quantity is small .The most frequent way of our watching movie is downloading.Because of this ,pirate libels are common in our country ,government put great power to prevent this phenomenon .As for me ,i usually keep my movies in my computer and mp4.When i am in my bedroom ,i watch movies with my computer .When i am out ,i will store some movies to my mp4,so that i can see them at any time and at any where .

Now, there are two tickets in my box. I guess I will go to the cinema with my friend on this staurday. About the movies that I bought, after finishing them, they are totally left alone. It is a better choice to watch a movie on youtube or something.

Yes Max,the cases ought to carry government health warnings lol as each time I have opened a case the disc inside certainly doesnt match the cover!but I admit its a difficult one to sort out.I do not have any formula ,and I will often just take out a cd or a DVD and then pop the case back, and when it comes to putting the disc away again I will just pop it into the first available case lol.Apparently my son has inherited this trait ,and he has spent a good few hours sorting out his collection, and im sure he will neeed a lot more time lol as his collection is huge to say the least! If the CD is one from the local library then that is fine,as you have to treat them with care,or otherwise you will be charged for them,so they are treated with the utmost of care!

I bought a huge bookcase just to keep all the movies we bought on DVD because we have that many! It completely fills the shelf and I like to keep all of them in the case. We go to the cinema too quite a lot, probably at least 4-5 times a month!
