I ask you a vital question,Money may be important for our day to day life. But what is most important is education. If you are an illiterate will any one even care about you or give a good recognition.I feel money comes behind education. With education money is just a free gift whereas you can buy intelligence and education with money.I want to share even more of this topic about education and money.Share your views too.

Now a dayspeople seek education as a means to earn money. Why do people work hard and try to get admission to the best colleges? It is not for a good education. it is to get a stamp of that college so that they canget a good and high paying job. Very few are there who take up education for education sake.

Illiterate is one thing but I dont think further tertiary education is relly more important than money.I have a few examples thereoff.I myself is living proof of that fact. If you can work with your hands (trade work) you will always have a job or oppertunity to create money without a boss.Think Carpenter ,plumber ,panelbeater etc.YOu need those people on a daily basis and you dont need a major infrastructure. I had friends who studied engineering ,I went into the trade and got a Trade Degree in automitive repairs (1 year course) no money invloved ,goverment pays and I earned 10 times what they did after they finished their degrees in engineering. After three years they became trainees entry level workers and I have established a business. You can always take courses and study during the time spent learning a physical trade. It doesnt make you dumb to work with your hands.there are books ,internet and everything to keep you up to date with life, technology etc. In South Africa we have two major important businessmen who are dyslexic but because of what they were trained to do physically they have now gained millionaire status. Money is a mindset ,a dream of achievement long before the reaching of the goal. If you want to you can ,with or without education (dont get me wrong ,I am stressing the fact that I am talking about sudies after school)

I prefer education. Recieving good education can help you survive in more environment, and can support you all your life. Though it may not help you lead a rich life, it can still help you to support yourself. With money you can do a lot, but there are still many things can not be done by it. Problems may come with money.

Hi friend,I raised the same discussion few days back,What I feel is each and everyone needs education first.Discipline and the basic manners comes only through education.Without education we would be ignorant of many things in the world. After attaining knowledge we can earn money through education. What is the use of having money without knowing how the money should be invested in the best way to multiply? All our money would get lost very soon.So education makes a man perfect, money doesn't make a man perfect.thanksfor sharing.happy mylotting.

Some people may think money is important and others may think education is important. But I think both of them are import. Because most of ours education aim is the same one, that is using knowledge to make money. And dream of most of us is making much money in the future. So I think both of them is important to us. Do you think so?

Education is more important than earning money because unless you are educated and very well realize your potential, you may not get success in earning money. There are variety of fields, engineering, business you can get only through education and knowledge and you can choose the best which suits you.

I can't say which is important, we can't go to school if we don't have money, will if you're lucky to have a sponsor for you study that's good for you, the root is still the money, we can have good education if we have lots of money. I see a lot of out of school youth, the mean reason, is that they can't afford to pay the expense for school. My younger sister, studied and graduated, she is now a teacher, but before she become a teacher, she spends a lot of money to pay high positioned official to get that vacant item. My younger sister is quite smart, because she was able to pass the licensure exam for teachers in just one take of exam, unlike others, that they have to retake the exam. For me both were important, but it depends on some instances and situation.

well, we were actually faced with this problem. my husband selected education so right now we're struggling. he decided to go back to school and take online courses to better himself and probably get a better job in graphic designs. since neither of us have formal education in that and i'm running a small business in web design he decided it would be the best choice in the long run. he was considering the economy and he said we will struggle for a little bit, but to just bear with it. and i am. working hard to earn a little just to get by and put food on our table. which is why i am depending on mylot a lot because i know they do pay out.

Of course education is more important. Without education, life is not so colorful! People can be ignorant. It seems that people without education are really lack of something

You cannot buy "intelligence". Intelligence is native to each individual. You can become educated which is the eradication of ignorance. Formal education provides one with the ability to think and reason. Formal education provides the elimination of illiteracy. It does not necessarily make one smarter though. Once a person is literate they may continue their informal education for the remainder of their life. That is the real gift of education. The ability to learn and grow. Money is only important in that it keeps a roof over your head and satisfy your basic needs.

I think that both money and education are very important. Obviously we need money in order to survive in today's world and yes, education costs money, that's if you learn a subject area and take on a class! However, you can educate yourself on the cheap and I mention one word - reading and lots of it! You can get cheap books are read and you will notice your mind improving dramatically. I think that if you are an illiterate person then living in the world becomes that very much harder! So, I guess it's in that person's interest to grab a book or two and start reading. His/her communication skills would then automatically improve. Andrew

I am assuming you mean formal education... Because I believe education or learning is an on-going process. Yes, it helps to have formal schooling especially if you are aiming to do something that is specialized. I do share the view that many people nowadays don't actually value education for what it is and just set their sites on courses that will allow them to earn money -- lots of money, in fact. So they miss the point. Yes, money is essential to meet our basic needs and then some. But it is not the be-all and end-all. We should not be blinded by money. I heard someone once say that money should work for you and not you working for the money. Real education will teach you what is important in life. It is not simply about becoming rich. It is about sharing your blessings, sharing your talents and gifts. Because when you are able to do this, then you truly will be a wealthy person. So between education and money, I say get a real education to you'll know how to make money and eventually know what to do with that money.

I totally agree with you. But then the scenario in the present society is quite different. People provide education only they're ready to pay money. Can we get education without money??No,not a seat in a reputed university, nor atleast a book to learn by ourselves. To start with you need money to have education and later you can use that education to earn money. They are supplemenatary to each other. Money can just leave us in no time but the acquired knowledge shall never. Both stand in the same level for me. Cheers :)

This is a very good question, I feel that education should be more important than money. Although there are some people who do not go to college to receive the education because of money issues. And there then there are most people, who only go to college to earn a degree so that they can get a higher paying job than they would without the degree. So, money and education are really twisted together, and maybe in this society they shouldn't be. Which raises the question to my mind, why should we have to pay a college tuition? Why is getting an education so expensive?
