I Was Saved By An Angel On A Motorbike!

This event happened about nine years ago but driving home tonight over the moors with the mist it reminded me of this occasion that I would like to share with you and would like your thoughts views or any similar experiences please. In the UK the traffic on the roundabout has the right of way and as I pulled up to a roundabout a guy on a motorbike was already on the roundabout but he just stopped. I was travelling with my two daughters and a friend and I said I don't know why he has stopped but I am not going to pull out in front of a motorbike and so I remained stationary at the junction for a couple of minutes. Suddenly from the next turning a police car pulled out and put his sirens on and went in the direction I was intending on going, I looked to the right and the motorbike had just vanished in a split second. I said to everyone in the car 'where did he go?' and then I drove my planned route but 30 seconds up the road was an horrendous car smash which had only just happened and my daughter said mum that man on the motorbike delayed us so we weren't involved and I believe that is what happened. He looked as real as you or I but he did just vanish and I feel even today that my daughter was right he was placed to prevent me going and I feel he was an agngel looking out for us bless. What do you guys make of this. Ellie :D

What a lovely story, it's good to be able to think that there are people or spirits out there looking after us. It sounds as though you had a lucky escape there ellie, and you may well be right about that motorbike being there for a reason! I have never had an experience like this happen, although a couple of years ago i was involved in a nasty car crash (completely not my fault - so no comments about young/female drivers from anyone!! lol), i ended up having to be cut out of my car while it was dangling over a bridge, i was ok in the end though! But for a couple of weeks before this happened i had a really nervous feeling about driving at night, which is completely unlike me as i have always loved driving, i just felt very anxious about being out in the car at night and really aware of my driving and what other people were doing on the roads - more than usual, bizarrely after i had recovered and got a new car i felt perfectly safe at night again, i have often wondered if some part of me knew what was going to happen that night. xxxx

Hi Munchkin, Oh darling, I am so glad that you survived and are here to tell the tale, what an awful experience for you, but yes I guess deep down you had a feeling and that has now lifted driving a different car. My neighbour bought a new car last year and I said to them that I would never be a passenger or my son in their car, they looked at me strange. I said you will be fine but there is something about being a passenger so I would rather not. On Good Friday a lorry hit a tree bringing a large branch down on the passenger side. They were fine and luckily they had no passenger and came round to tell me I was right about not going in the car with them. I always listen to my gut feelings on things and I think if others did they would be helped far more. I am just truly thankful to the guy on the motorbike for delaying us bless. Huggles. Ellie :D

I'm pretty glad i'm here too Ellie!! It didn't take me long to "get over it" really, my friend - who was in the car with me - was really traumatised i was just angry with the guy who crash into us, but i think that was because maybe deep down i knew it was going to happen! I could have done with a guardian angel on a motorbike like you that night! Wow, that is pretty remarkable, i'm sure that sometimes we know things before they happen, even if we don't know exactly what it is, we just get a bad feeling. I'm glad you're friend was ok and that there were no passengers! My dad bought a big american car about 7 years ago and as soon as i saw it is said when are you going to get a new wing mirror, he said he wasn't there was nothing wrong with the old one and i said that one was going to break, the next day he went down a narrow country lane and someone clipped his wing mirror off on the corner! Ever since he's called me a witch!! hehe xxx

That is an incredible story. Your daughter is such a sensitive person that she was able to make that connection with what could have happened to you if you could have ignored that motorbike that stop you from going on further. You should be thankful that an angel has made extra effort to really warn you that an impending accident would happen.

Hi Rsa, I am truly thankful to that angel for making an effort to prevent myself, my family and friend from being hurt. My daughter always has been and if I am impatient ever she will say that the reason a delay is happening is to ultimately help us in some way bless her. Ellie :D

Heheheh... he could have been an angel. Or he could have been a real person who had to stop his bike for some weird reason. Whatever he or it was, lucky for you!! Cheers and happy mylotting

Hi Positveminded, I think I would have gone with the fact the guy had a problem with his bike or being foreign perhaps and thinking I had right of way except for the fact that he just vanished rather than start the bike and continue round the roundabout. I am truly thankful to him who or whatever he was bless. Huggles. Ellie :D

Hey ellie! Hmmmm! So you think that this motorcycle guy really wasn't there? But you and your daughter saw him? Then he just disappeared? I don't know! I don't doubt anything. Especially things like that. It could have been an angel. I do believe that those things can happen. I just don't know. I have very strong beliefs for my own reasons. So if he was an angel, the he may have really save your life and if you do believe it I sure wouldn't doubt you for a minute. I believe that there are angels out there who come and go and are here when we need them to protect us without question. It depends on how strong you believe.

i think that he is an angel in a motorbike just how you find him.. well, nobody would stopn infront of the road for the heck of it.. guess he has a purpose.. and guess that's to prevent you and your kids from getting into an accident.. guess there are just a lot of things that we cannot explain no matter how modern this worl has become.. we have discovered a lot of new technologies for our ease and convenience, but there are just these kinds of things than are left unanswered until now.

Wow, that is quite an experience. A little eerie. I don't think I've ever had anything like that happen to me. You definitely had an angel watching over you that day, and he may have been on that motorbike. Take care.

Hi ellie, Yes I can well believe in that, we have a;ll got angel to guides and keep us safe right through our lives everyone has angel but most people don't believe in them which is so very sad, but they are there for them no matter what. I am so glad your biker angel save you all. There are many times when I steped off the kerb to cross the road and felt someone pulled me back and split seconds a car would be speed by, if I just kept on going I would be here on Mylot, that is why I always pray to them morning and night and sometimes talk to them. Love & Huggles. Tamara

I believe an angel was involved. I agree with you. I am running out of time on the computer, but I have seen this type of thing before. I have been given help by strangers too that were like angels to me but I also believe in real Angels helping us.

Wow that gave me chills right from the moment i started reading it definately very lucky and definately glad you didn't just ignore him. I can't say i've ever experienced anything like that althoughi'm pretty sure i'd take heed of gut feelings and stuff if i had to. I'm still working out if i believe in god and angels etc but i definately believe someone was looking out for you that day babes.

Hi Mands, All I know is that if we have carried on we would have been caught up in the accident so I am truly thankful he was there to stop us from going further at that exact time. Having ridden myself I am very bike aware which is why I feel a bike was chosen as if it had been a car I would have just got annoyed and pulled away. Everything happens for a reason eh! Huggles. That's just awesome Ellie...how blessed you must have felt...that's a very special thing to happen. I remember many years ago, I hadn't long had my license and I was going to work with the 2 children in my little mini. It was a Saturday so I was driving into town instead of catching the train . Traveling along the highway, through the suburbs I had a run of green lights. Suddenly, as I entered an intersection where the light was green, a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction turned in front of me right across my path. I tensed up ready to brake and something pushed my foot down HARD on the accelerator and I wrenched the steering wheel to go around this other car. If I had stopped, this car would have run right into us. By accelerating and swerving hard, I avoided a collision but I was certainly not experienced enough to either make the decision or take the evasive action. I'm sure there was an angel very close by helping me out. Though why this would happen...I have no idea. Why would my girls and I be saved when so many lives are lost in road accidents?
