I do. I just don't understand how someone could actually follow this as a religion. Why do some people just eat this stuff up?

$cientology ? crap ? how could you say such a thing ? It is clearly the best religion out there, aimed solely at cleansing and elevating your immortal soul, to the highest planes our race has ever seen, the Promised Land... Thetans, great Truth brother, great Truth in all of it! .. yeah. Either that, or it's a club of profit-hungry cultists without any morals, that are having a nice lauch and cashing in on the naivete and confusion of souls misguided enough to buy their propaganda :D

I guess scientologists might feel the same way about you? I don't know your religion or beliefs, but there is every chance a lot of people in the world might wonder the same thing about you: "Why does NuclearRabbit just eat this stuff up?" The answer is simple: They eat the stuff up because they see sense in it and it makes them feel good. Same as you feel about your religion. Cheers and happy Mylotting

Who Knows? They really might have found their path in it. By the way, what is this religion about? Sounds like they believe in science more than anything else. Is that it? Or am I missing something here?

I don't know if it is crap, it might have some very useful points to it. I don't like the tiered organization of it. A lot of the tactics they use seem underhanded but there are two sides to every story but their side always seems to be hidden by a bunch of lawyers. I also read a lot of things that connect L.Ron to Alister Crowley and Jack Parsons which kind of makes me wonder about the whole ordeal. So from what I have read its not for me.

Then you shouldn't have filed this under religion, you're sure to get some daggers thrown at you. I don't think it qualifies as a relgion but they do it that way to avoid taxes and corporate status. It seems a bit weird to me but a lot of Holierthanthouwood types just love it. I call it gospel light, half the religion of other faiths.
