Have you ever gotten something stuck to your eyelashes?

Tonight, I had the odd sensation that something
was flashing in front of my eyes.
At first, I thought it was simply hair, so I kept brushing
back my bangs.
But, it was still there.
Every time I blinked, it appeared and then sort of hovered
there, right to the side of my eye.
After a few minutes of putting up with this,
I rubbed my eye and something fell off my eyelashes.
I have no idea what it was. But, now it's gone!
Have you ever had something stick to your eyelashes?

lol yeah..that mystery fuzzy thing just to the right. every once in a while i get a couple of eyelashes that grow almost straight down from my upper lid. they never have any color to them so unless i accidentally get mascara on them, i cant see them. but when they get long enough to start catching another lash or reach the middle of my eyeball..they drive me crazy trying to brush/rub that thing off my lashes!
usually takes me a while to figure out its not coming off, and go put my nose to the mirror trying to see it. then i have to just clip it off. i dont have full lush lashes, i sure wish those oddball clear downward growers would shape up and fly right! i might not have to wear so much mascara if they did!

LOL what a funny discussion hun, but I do know what you mean. I've had this in the past when I've worn mascara (something I don't wear too often) but when I do wear it and remove it with makeup remover, sometimes I don't manage to get it all off and then what happens? I start to see fuzzy bits in front of my eyes and it drives me nuts and I keep rubbing my eyes like a child and they go red. Nowadays, I tend to splash my eyes with water if something is irritating as I'm getting older and more worried about hurting my eyes with things that shouldn't be in there :)

Believe it or not, I have had a clump of my cat's orangeish white hair stuck in my eye lashes. LOL That probably looked weird, because the clump of hair that fell into my coffee was about the size of my eye ball. I don't know how I didn't notice it before. LOL LOL LOL
