Do you need sleeping pills to go to sleep? I don't rely on them totally and try not to take it. But if really can't sleep, I will have to pop one pills. How you about you?

I take temazepam to go to sleep. Without it, I can't sleep at all.

Sometimes relying in sleep medication is the only way for people to sleep-and most doctors will not perpetually refill sleep medications without a cause. I have a sleep disorder and am on medications that inhibit REM sleep-and without adequate REM sleep, one may as well not even sleep. I am constantly alternating among the various benzodiazepines I have been prescribed and sometimes I just stay up so that I will be so exhausted that my body has no choice but to pass out-but I certainly can't do that the night before I am to work or drive, etc. That would just be irresponsible on my part.

Please check, today I have posted a discussion topic on exericse and get tired, one would get sound sleep and no need for sleeping pill. I do not require sleeping pills. First things is to write the problems on a sheet of paper and also write how you are going to solve them. Assume that you are on the way to solve them. Now no worries and one should be able to sleep well. If worries are not there, then take a book and start reading. Automatically you will get sleep at one time or the other before midnight. PS: As you have opted to be my friend, I expect you to respond to one of my discussions as I have done now.

I have taken sleeping pills before but I prefer not to. The only time I ever do is if I cant sleep and I have to be at school or work the next morning other than that, I would just stay up all night until finally I fall asleep, no matter what time of night it is.

No, I don't take sleeping peels. But if I do have a hard time sleeping(which is very rare lol) then I take some night time Nyquil. That works for me. That or some clear Benadryl syrup.

Ambien is really supposed to be bad about that. You might ask your doctor to let you try Lunesta. I don't think it's supposed to have those affects as much.
