Parents And Their Slang Words.

Parents would always use little slang words for certain things when you are a small child. For example when you are a little girl and she wanted to bathe you in a certain area she would say wash your fruity or wash your kitty cat.
Do you remember any slang words that your parent used when you were a little child?
My aunt called it a Te-Tally.

mmm yeh my mum always called it a tuppence and a boys widgy or winkle lol my mother in law called it a flower which my boyfriend often still does lol I call it a punani strange how everyone has little word for them lol she also used to spell stuff out and my dad was a bit slow i usually knew what she was saying before he did lol

These days you can't spell things out to kids they can spell just as good as we can at an early age. I know my grand boys can.

Hi Chevee,
That is so funny, yes my mum always called it fu-fu, and when we go for a wash she used to shou 'don't forget your fu-fu, when we think of it now its seem so funny. Now my niece calls it fu-fu as well now.

lol it was always a fru fru in my house when i was little, that word has stayed with me all these years and i still sometimes use it now!! hehe there are loads of words that my family used to use when i was younger though, not necessarily words made up to prevent us saying something rude, just silly little words!! xxx
