Do dreams have any meaning?

Some people seek to interpret meanings for the dreams that they see in sleep. I am not really on believing this, but I wonder, because what I saw in my dreams was a reminder of what actually happened, but which I must forgotten forever. In my dream, I am passing through a narrow tunnel, there were lot of dusts that I can hardly breathe, but at last a passed through it, and that same moment I awake and my mouth is dry, that I need to go out and drink. In reality, I can never remember I see a real tunnel in my whole life. But as I thought of it harder, yes, I have once pass through one, during one of my school filed trips, more than 15 years ago. But that I barely remember and I only get reminded of today.

I have the gift of dreams I believe. Some I can interpret, some I can't. I can only interpret my own dreams but not other peoples. When I wake up after a dream and the meaning comes to me automatically it is bound to happen. Not the dream itself but the interpretation. When I was a little girl, I was sleeping in my moms lap when I dreamed that she was waving to me on a ship and it was very dark. When I woke up she left me. When I was a grown up I dreamed that I went to Dubai where my ex husband was vacationing since he was working in the middle east. He had his arms wrap around the shoulder of another girl, in my dream he said hello to me and goodbye because they needed to cross the island and enjoy the beach. When I woke up, I was on my knees praying to God not to let it happen but if it is for the good then so be it. My husband came home 2 mos later with the woman and it shook my life and my childrens. My recent dream was seeing a rainbow ascending from a river with it's full colors. I just know it entails a bright future. And so I am hopeful.

Really, what a coincidence, or is it? So do you believe it has any real significance or meaning? I don't want to mess with my mind. Many times recently, I am dreaming the lights went off or that I turned blind. I'm thinking it's because I know I'm worrying about too many things at times. I hope the last dream you had will happen.

I hope so too. Looking back, the dreams that really happened was the warning dreams that I have. I had a few good dreams and somehow, I am still waiting for them to come true. I think dreams are very subjective when it comes to interpretation. What our eyes can see are the physical circumstances only but there are also things that is happening in the spiritual realm. And I personally think they are more significant. Maybe, it is a sneak peek of what is to be. But then again I also have a friend whose humor happens only in dreams. I can't even help but laugh at her dreams. Could be that her soul is longing for laughter. For me, I take my dreams seriously because it has proven itself many times in the past even when I was a kid.

Many of my dreams have come true as well as have had meaning. I think they can, but I dont think that they all do. Sometimes medications, and stress can make you have crazy dreams. I think its good to pay attention though because they can be warnings and signs of what is to come.

I'm not taking medications, but I must be stressed. That dream really makes me think. This is the first time something like this happened, which is being reminded of a past moment I have forgotten, and no one will remind me.

Yes I agree, I too always see my past but sometimes I dream of something that had never happend but I've noticed that it comes to reality after few years time. Then it comes to my mind that I knew and seen this before. Now I hardly see dreams.
