When I am sick I usually try to eat more fruits and I also eat soup. I am not a big soup fan, in fact the only time I ever seem to eat soup is when I am sick. I also try to drink plenty of liquids but since I am not a huge water fan I drink pure juice like apple and orange juice. I guess though it depends on if I have a cold or a flu as to how much or exactly what I will try to get down.

I prefer food as light as possible.usually i take grape and pineapple juice.Orange juice is also a good option if you are lackin' in vitamin c. Bananas and curd rice are also a gud option when u r sufferin' from stomach problems as they helps to control the seceretion level of HCL in stomach.

hello kenchiprincess, When I am not feeling well, I eat a lot of fruits - apples, guavas, orange, pineapples, soups and a lot of liquids. Indeed I have no appetite but I need to do it so I'll not get sick longer. I'm not use to taking medicine at once. I'll do nasal thing that my Doctor told me to do, and it's so helpful not only to me but to my family too. Eversince she thought us this, we don't go to the Doctor anymore. It's so effective, saves money a lot.

Hi there kenchiprincess! When I am sick, I usually eat a lot of fruits. But one food I should have when I am sick is chicken soup. It never fails to help me feel better especially when I catch a flu. While food doesn't taste interesting enough when we are sick, we know that we should eat in order for us to feel better. Besides, there are some medicines that we are prescribed that can't be taken unless we have something in our stomach.

I usually eat hot soup with noodles. Also I eat a lot of fruits especially bananas. I'm lucky that I don't lose much appetite when I'm sick. I eat just a little less than what i usually eat when I'm not sick.

A bowl of chicken soup with a little bit of rice in it. This is also one of those few moments when I actually find myself drinking tea... orange or mint tea.

Whenever I feel a little under the weather with a cold or the flu I always find chicken soup or soup of any sort for that matter really helps. The warmness helps warm me up and it's easy to get down especially if i'm suffering with a sore throat too. My mum always recommends a spoonful of honey if i'm suffering with a really sore throat as this helps soothe the pain and makes swallowing a little easier. One of my friends wont eat much at all when their ill and instead they recommend a spoonful of honey with a tumbler of brandy or whisky.

Hi, When i am sick i eat lots of different kinds of jello. I eat lots of ice-cream or popsicles if a sore throat is present. Drink lots of clear fluids to prevent dehydration. I use my vaporizor to breath freely for a stuffy nose. Sometimes a doctor will say to eat toast but i haven't had much luck keeping toast down when i'm sick. I do eat some pudding too. :o)....Have a great day....:o)
