I awoke this morning to find 34 spam emails in my inbox. I must have signed up for some crap with the past couple days. I guess I should set them to go to the spam folder instead of my inbox. That is just rediculous! I cant believe I got that many in a short amount of time. So I was just wondering, if you sign up for things on the internet how many spam emails do you get a day, and do you read them all or just trash them?

i get a fair amount of spam everyday. I don't worry about them and just delete them on the way to checking what mails I have received for the day. Anything that does not address me by name is spam and gets deleted pronto. Cheers!!

I am constantly getting spam mails and it is very irritating. I just kill them off several times a day and then they don't pile up. If I don't like if I'm on vacation and come back to it it is just so much that I usually kill off everything and be done with it.

LOL, you're lucky. In one of my accounts I wake up with over a hundred, every single day, and in the other one I use a lot about 40 to 50. What a pain in the neck.

I've heard that you end up with even more if you try to unsubscribe. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I just leave mine alone and hit the empty folder button. Good luck to you. Let me know if it helps!

Oh, that's really nothing! I get literally hundreds of SPAM messages every day. I have been using the internet since 1997 so I guess all those years of signing up for offers, contests, etc. has caught up to me. It is very annoying but I have to go through it every day to keep on top of it. I usually sort my e-mails by sender and then that is the easiest way to get rid of massive amounts of mail at once with the select all option and delete. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I get hundreds, if not thousands, every day. A lot of these are to non-existent email addresses. One problem if you own one or more domains is guaranteed spam.

I only get spam once every couple of days... seems to me you should use either a proper anti-spam application, or use a good free mailbox (I use gmail for everything, but never use the web interface).Using spam filters will prevent spam to a certain extent. I get every day messages from watch, adult links, shopping, banks bla bla..so am using a anti spam application. it is better to use it.

I usually get about 100-200. I cant stand it. I wish I could keep my email address and start over. I have a fake address I usually use so they can spam that I never check, but before I learned that trick I used my work email what a mistake that was.

I use a email account that charge me a little every month so I don't get that trash any more. It's cost so little I think you can have a try.

Oh,RDugas, I get a lot of them. Thanks to my stupidity in the beginning. I kept signing up for everything. I used to believe in all the paid sites. Fortunately I did not go and invest big time. Just got used to receiving them in my spam mail mainly. So I just go ahead and blindly delete them.

Yup just like fjaril I don't even sign up for the stuff and I get it. I open those that appear more than once and unsubscribe but by the time I do some other BRILLIANT OFFER is sent to me don't know how they get your email but they do. Most time I just delete the whole of my span without even open a single thing. I t drives me nuts. Always some lottery winnings, or some trip to some place or some thing to just drive you up the wall.

I must have a great email filter, because I don't get any. It is very nice to not have to worry about that.

i have about 5-10 daily. all are related to asking for funds/con-man scheme. i would recived spam mails on winning the UK lottery or something like that and to contact someone by the name of harry bricks ...can't be bothered with them. next group of spam would be those pretending to be politician, army generals, bank managers who claimed to have large fortune but need my help to unfreeze the fund. these tricks are still around after so many years and i cannot believed if anyone would fall for it. these emails always claimed to be from some war-torn or african countries. i would just trash them whenever i see the headings
