Have you seen Sandman? It's a Stop Motion Animated Short Film By Paul Berry. The film was nominated for an Oscar in 1991.
I found it on youtube. I remember seeing it as a kid. It was pretty disturbing and it haunted me for many nights.

I have never seen or heard about the short film called the Sandman by Paul Berry but it does sound like it would be an interesting short film,and might be worth checking out,and that is cool that it got nominated for an Oscar in 1991 and I wonder if it won the Oscar,it sucks that it haunted you for many night and me and my fiance might check out that link on youtube to see what it is like but I am not sure if I want to watch it or not.

Just watch it. It's not really scary. It was scary to me because I was 9 when I saw it:)
