I don't celebrate halloween, even as a kid a never did. The only time I dressed up was about 3 yrs back when I workd at a retail store and I put on a cape and passed out candy in the mall. LOL it was fun though and part of my job. That was the last time I did anythihg on halloween. Do you dress up? do you enjoy it or do it for the kids or work? and what do you think of hallowwen as a whole?

Never I celebrate holloween.I have no experience about this. I did not get any chance to work such a job.For job sake also I did not paricipate any fun. When I was kid once in our school's annual sports I participated an item named 'Dress as you like'. I dressed as a cleaner. That gave me lo of joy.

Now I can guise about holloween. But the clear picture still fade to me.There are varieties of culture in our planet. You celebrate velentine day.In this day lovers meet together. In our region(India,Bangladesh)similar day is first day of Spring(Pahela Falgoon). In this day girls wear yellow 'saree' and meet with their boyfriends. There is a saying:'East is East and the West is West. The twin can never meet again.'I think the saying is not now absolute correct.Culture is also globalising.

Now that I am an adult and have been for over 25 years, I rarely go to Halloween parties or find it necessary to get dressed up for any reason. Ever since becoming a Christian, it has been hard for me to truly understand Halloween. Halloween according to my church is considered the Fall Festival. The children and even some adults dress up, but not in "pagan" costumes, but in stylish and festive costumes. Sometimes, an occasional individual will wear those interesting devil ears on their head, but I wouldn't, especially not in a church setting. We want to keep Satan out of our lives no matter how hard it might be. We do not want to encourage him by representing him through ghoulish costumes. Even though, Halloween should be fun and safe.

Well as a christian I have been told to avoid halloween. Theres this great video on the history of halloween and how it came to be what it is today. I dont think its evil but the things behind the actual holiday are. People dont go out with bad intentions specially kids going out for candy, but the things done in the past have made it a day that christians avoid. We actually had youth group last year on the day and we had a lot of fun without celebrating the actual holiday.

I used to dress up all the time as a kid. But now that i'm an adult i rarely dress up anymore. I think i'm going to this year though because my one year old is going to go out for halloween and i can't wait to eat his candy. I think i'll dress up with him and show him how fun halloween really is.
