I do not have a cell phone and live a complete normal life.I find they are just a luxury item to me I live on a fixed income so I really don't need the extra cost of having one not to mention the headache of trying to use one.Have a great day.

In this day and age hardly anyone can dare say he can let a week pass by without having to use his/her cellphone and everyone tries to justify that cellphones have become a necessary tool of communication and that he or she needs to use them. Wll lets put it straight , necessity has laways invented solutions and equipments that satisfies them. It never was the other way round. Even the cell phones in their presnt or genreic form when there already existed a huge vaccum hor them. So i take the positon with the famous saying, you cant hold an idea when its time has come.!!!

hi gepong! Yes, I have a cellphone. Its just a simple cellphone. For me, my cellphone is a necessity. It is a way to get in touch with me. I dont have a phone at home so if they want to contact me the best way is the celphone. But still I think one person can still live a normal life even without it, as long as there are landlines everywhere. take care

these days, i think no one can live if someone take away their mobile phone away. the mobile phone is now a major communication device for people of all all ages regardless of age and occupation, i even saw elementary school students in our community had their own mobile phone. and they wont settle for just one phone sometimes they own two brands of phones..

A cellphone is a great tool for daily life. You can make your life easier with them by contacting people anytime you want and you can be contacted anytime as well. But you can live a life easily without them. Internet and common phone may give a good support for your daily communication needs.

In my country here, it is getting very common to see primary school students having great cellphone. Their cellphone are more expensive and powerful than mine! It is a necessity for me. I will feel unsafe without it as I can't get help from other during emergency. Or I will miss some urgent call from love one. Besides serving as an important communication devices, the next feature I like the most is camera. with camera built in, it is so convenience for me to capture important data or wonderful moment by recording the video. Lastly, it is also music player. You could store many of your favourite songs and listen to them whenever you like.
