How many shortcuts do u have on the desktop?

None. I like my desktop clear from any files. There are no files at all on my desktop. I access all programs through start button.

Do you mean shortcut ? I have 6 shortcuts becuase I just format my laptop but postly I have around 30 shortcuts

I also have many shortcuts on my desktop. I try not to put any folder or files on desktop. I have shortcuts for anti-virus, mozilla, mail-clients, messengers, utorrent, download manager, audio and video players, chrome, eclipse, different IDEs ......... list goes on. Thank god, we have windows shortcuts RUN - wordpad/notepad, win+e, run- iexplore etc. which saves some of the shortcuts. If someone has found any easy way to do this please let me know...

Nice and simple. No applications, just 5 folders - inbox (incoming stuff), outbox (which is cleared daily) archive (things to keep) and a couple of shortcuts to projects.

I have 5-6 max can't stand the clutter. Everything can be accessed from the Start menu anyway, the list of shortcuts is very easy to use and personalise. I find it much neater and much more organised, besides that I don't want to cover up my desktop wallpaper.

haha i have 2 many, most are folders of which i keep at the front to save looking for them as they contain links and things. i do keep cleaning the desktop up though a week or so after its full of crap again. but to awnser your question i have 21

yahoo messenger, yahoo mail, uninstaller 2008, cc cleaner, mozilla firefox, msn messenger, ragnarok, notepad ++, nero, set up files, utorrent, win media player, quicktime, ie, wondershare photo collage, mydocs, kaspersky, remove it pro. =D
