I always try to be punctual for work or any other appointment that I have. I hate it when others arrive late for work or for any other meeting. For me it's lack of respect towards other to arrive late for an appointment. Are you punctual for work?

I always tried to be early for work, as at least on time. I'm the type of person who doesn't like to be late for work, for class, for an appointment, or anything like that.

I have always been punctual at work. I have the advantage of being near to my office when I used to work. It's like a 5-minute drive (if there is no traffic) from my home. My boss always calls me as the 'early bird' among my colleagues. As a bonus, he gave me gift certificates at Starbucks as a reward.

I try to be punctual at work most of the time. Sometimes due to some unforeseen circumstances, I might be late. If such things happen, I usually call in to make sure they are aware that I'm coming in late or is delayed. I also apply the same principle when I'm meeting someone. I think it is just common courtesy to be there at the appointed or agreed time. If you can't make it, then let the other person know. I hate waiting myself, so I try to put myself in the other person's shoes. So yes, being punctual is something I try to do most of the time.

I hate being late. Luckily, I arranged with my supervisor so I can come in 10 minutes later and stay 10 minutes later than normal.

I am always punctual if it will be in the time I came in the working place for I always hate those people who would not come on time and out is one of my perspective as well unless if it is needed to make an overtime.

Mostly I arrive even earlier. Just because I do not want to be late. I get use to it although many people I know are late and do not bother with that. I think is is like you sad, they show this way lack of respect. But have to say sometimes there are obvious reasons others arrive late.

I am always punctual for any appointments I might happen to have. Even when I am going out with my husband, I am always ready before him and I sit and wait. What annoys me then is that he comes marching into the room and has the audacity to ask if I am ready. I can't stand being kept waiting.

I currently work from home. So it is easy to be on timeBut when I worked in an office I was generally early. It helped to get motivated for a long day. Have that cup of coffee. Clear the cobwebs.

I always arrive 10-15 minutes early! Yes, it is rude to be late and indicates that you don't consider the person or the company important. It's insulting to be late and I would rather be early.

Where I used to work, we have to be punctual or we will be locked outside with the students. Yes, I used to be a teacher and it would be embarrassing to be late with your students. So I make it a point to come early. I like being early. I could settle down and relax before the ruch begins when the bell rings.

Hi there ronaldinu When I was working, before I had my kids, I was never once late for work. Even when I had my first child and returned to work and had been up in the night for feeds and preparing bottles for the next day before I even left for work. I always walked to work becase as that way I didn't ever have to rely on public transport or get a lift from anyone as they might too have let me down. I hate being late for anything and it rarely happens.

I hate to be late. I always try to be early. I think that it shows that you really care about our job, to arrive early, and have everything organized and ready for when it is time to start. Not get to work clock in then get ready.

I work for myself and tend to be very punctual for appointment as if I am not, it will not be very good for my business. It is very annoying when people arrive late for appointments and it really makes me feel that I don't want to bother meeting with them when they are late. But if I want to stay in business, I have to make allowances. But it's not easy.

I'm punctual for EVERYTHING. I drive my husband nuts, because if we need to catch a plane I'll make sure we're at the airport five hours early - just in case! I'm always sitting at the dentist half an hour before my appointment, and I'd never keep anybody waiting. I was brought up being taught it was the height of rudeness not to be on time, so I always allow extra for travelling and getting somewhere. However, Australians are NOT punctual people as a rule, and I've come to realise if someone says they'll pick me up at a certain time they'll usually be at least quarter of an hour late - and people who are supposed to call in to drop off things often don't turn up at all.
