Impeachment complaint, Is gonna push thru at the Congress or not?

Hi Pinoys! Joey De Venicia III and co. filed another impeachment complaint at the congress the other day. On my personal opinion it will not pass thru congress. The administration has the majority of the congressmen. It's going to be a numbers game, as they say, even though the evidence is strong. Also, I believe Joey's motive is political. I think he is planning to run for senator or congressman come 2010 election. What do you think guys? Please share your thoughts here. Thanks for reading. Have a nice day!

Well it`s another waste of time... Only Filipino people could change the history again, and only Filipino could help better our country. Now if we will remain unattouched and will remain blinded to what is really happening, then I guess everything is just a waste.

Thanks too... I`m just exactly stating a fact. People seem to argue to what is really happening... issues here and there... We keep on commenting or even making things worst... Thing is, we only know how to react, but we never really do any move.

Again? Oh well, they are starting to create names again. No wonder the 2010 election is upcoming. They have started their move towards publicity stunt. It's not new this days that political issues sounds big throughout the nation. Everybody has its own political agenda, this is just one of the many issues to come.

I hope the complaint will push through just to basically give us answers to what seem to be an open secret. Atleast, in the process, we would know how GMA would defend herself and we would have a sense of "practicing the law".

I think he knows that his impeachment complaint is a lost cost. I agree with previous response that it's a publicity stunt. Congress woun't push the complaint. All he is after is exposure.

I am so sick and tired of politicians passing an impeachment complaint just for there personal interest. Not to mention that they are spending the money of every taxpayer over session that doesnt do any benefit to the common people. Obviously it will not pass through congress since it is a numbers game and it is not base on how solid the evidence are. I just wish all of these corrupt officials in the government are all gone and some good and deserving people will replace them. But i know i am just wishing for something that will never happen. I wont expect much of these traditional politicians who just whose main interest is for there own image and not what is best for every filipino. Instead of passing a bill that will benefit a lot of people they are just going to waste time arguing over a stupid issue that we all know will never get resolved.I will only be interested of the phils politics if the current law will be amended. Obviously we dont need a bunch of congressman who are not capable of implementing law that will benefit the common people. Some of them if not all are useless people who is collecting there salary and given special priviledge by just sitting for an hour arguing over issue that will not help improve the current economic situation.

It's a publicity stunt. He's going to try to push for an impeachment but we all know that it's not going to push through. You're correct in saying that his motive is political. He's trying to make a name for himself so that when election time comes, people would remember him as the guy who tried to impeach GMA.
