Can you live wihtout internet??

No way , as far as I'm concerned the internet has its big and huge place in my life , I can't live without it montally , I can't imagine even life without it , I know that it is possible but it will be so thought to deal with it , .. without internet I would not find anything else that I would spend my time on it , no speaking with friends , no forums , no Multipayer options ,My life would be so borring ... So how do you think that the life would be without the internet ?? can you really live without it??

I think i would find it really difficult to cope without the internet, although it is possible, as 20 years ago it wasn't something that everybody used, but things have changed now, i need the internet to get my coursework for my degree and for doing research, as well as road direction, holiday bookings, and all the other things we can do on the net, but apart from that i need it to keep me sane! i don't know what i'd do with myself if i couldn't come on mylot or any social networking sites, or download music etc, i'd go nuts!! xxx

I think you're right, the majority of people use the internet as a major form of communication, as well as having hobbies online - even my grandma emails people now!! hehe i think it would be really tough to have to go without it! xxx

Yeah , it is true , my familly to is so attracted to it , the old ones , the young ones , all of them do use it , and each one of them has his own raisons , there are who do commerce on it , some others who just play games on it , there is me who uses it for chatting on forums , websites ... generally , my familly takes the internet like something really important in our lives.

As far as I'm concerned , I think that no body from this generation , can really live without using the internet in his regular hobbies such as : chatting with familly , firends , searching on the net about information , new ,getting on forums and discussing subjects ,giving opinions ,sharing ideas ..

Live without it, Yes!
Can I do without it, No.
I think the internet has made it so much easier for many things.
Shopping, finding phone numbers and addresses and the such.
Being connected with family and friends is a lot easier as well.
Just too easy for life with the internet now days.
It wqould be slow without the internet once again I feel.
I'd be lost in a sense as well.

Of course I am one of your side , I don't think that I can live without internet , physical it is possible but montaly , no way , I would not resist being without it .

I loved your two firsts sentences ,.. so as I see , you are one of us , people who can not let out the internet and live without it , .. if we look at our day's time , we will find that the most of it is taken by this tool , each thing we do it is relative to it , like if we were attracted to it or we were its sleves .

Yes, I can. It's not easy, it's not fun but I can. I know I can because not too long ago I had to for about 2 months. Someone in this house was not to careful with my laptop. I found the electrical cord ripped. I bought another AC adapter but the pin inside the laptop became loose. One day, while I was trying to use it the power was going on and off and all of a sudden the screen went black. I tryed reinstalling the operating system but something happened when the power shorted out. Someone said I know how to fix it. She tried but nothing. It took me about 2 months to find a good deal on this one ($185.00 on ebay) So yes, it's not easy but it can be done.

Great !! what an experience , it seems that you tried being without internet lots of times ,.. it is hard to deal with this accedents but things just happened , ..It happens to me too once ,that the electrecity went on ; my company cut off the connection to do some reppars .. and most of those days were the most black and sad ones , where I hadn't nothing to do ..

Well considering that I lived over 40 years of my life without the internet, I am very confident that I'd be ok without it. I have so many interests in my life and ways to keep myself entertained. To me, boredom is an indicator that I need to do something...anything and so I do. I do love the internet and I would definitely miss it if I suddenly didn't have it. I'd have to go back to the old way of paying my bills and I would miss mylot for sure. I'd be ok tho. I'd just put more time into other things. It's not my life.

I do understand what you are saying. I would not like to be without the internet as I love it and it is something that I've come to use each day. I enjoy it and it also makes life so much easier. Still, it is always good to have a back up plan just in case it isn't always there. When my girls were younger, I did limit their use on it. With 5 of us in the house....we had no choice but to share our time on it. As a result, they did develop other interests and they did learn to do banking & pay bills, communicate etc...without internet. They learned to use other resources such as the library for research. I think if allowed, they'd have been on the net in all their spare time. Three of them are grown and on their own now and none of them are "addicted". Even the 14 year old has outside interests. We'd al miss it if we didn't have it but we'd also all be ok...it wouldn't be devastating.

Yeah , you're right , only people who didn't get born and find the internet ,can really be independant from it ,.. by other words ,people who hadn't grown with the net many of them can continue his life without it , with no difficults ,because it doesn't change anything in his life ,and he didn't find it here to let it go on his life when there was a chance for that.

Well now that I see how awesome the internet is I will have to say no I couldn't live without internet lol but I guess if I had to I would try but I'm hoping I will never have to test that answer because it would be a real bummer not to have the internet.

Good , but could you give more details please , saying that and full stop , it isn't to mutch ,I wanna share experience with you , try to describe your feelings , your attachement to this communication way , how do you use it , why would you miss it if we skip it from our lives ?? any way thank you for responding me , and please try to answer those questions just to make the discussion rich of meanings and ideas .

i can't live without internet because we don't have something for doing in the computer when we don't have an internet.
if you possed the internet you can make a new friendship and you can use internet to obtain a lot of information.and you can search about any subject , and ...

If I haven't known mylot, I would have readily said that I could do this for over a year. As a matter of fact, I have already experienced this after my husband and I got married more than five years ago. We both decided that I temporarily stop from work so that we could have our first baby.
I was jobless for more than a year (nearly two years), having only the small store which my spouse put up beside my in-laws' house as my diversion and business. While I'm not busy with the store, I was creating or writing a short novel which I fortunately was able to finish before I resumed work.
Unfortunately, we weren't very successful with having a baby then. When I went back to work again with a different employer, this was the time God finally gave us our first child.
At present, I do mylot for five days in a week. I still don't have my own computer so I only rely on the company's computer to access the internet and for other personal purposes. As far as I can remember, the longest duration I've been away from mylot community is five long days. I can say that I'm already an addict with mylot because on days when I can't access mylot, I think of the discussions and online friends I miss.

My purpose for accessing the internet then was only to create an email account and eventually apply for jobs online. Fortunately, I got hired through the net. But after some time, this has become not the only reason I had to surf the net. I'd say that with the economic crisis going on in almost all over the world, I really have to double my efforts to earn extra, either online or offline.

Nice experience my friend , so MyLot is the most attracted raison for you , to use the internet , as I can see , and as you have said about the period that you lived before you got your first child , you can live without internet wiht any problems , and that you do use internet just to make an extra money , is that what you mean ?

Sure. Physically I can survive. But I work from home. So that would get difficult without the internet. I need a bit of a paycheck to at least help out.

We can all physically survive my friend , because the internet attracts the pischacale side , the montaly side more then the physical one , it is a way to make desirs coming true or near of that , beside , most of people do use it as a support that we can depend on it for work , meeting friends , communication with the others...

Yap !! so boring , I tried it for three days without internet , it was the most miserable days of my whole life .. The internet has its own affects on life of each of us , each one , is related to it some how , it helps , it makes things eaiser for people , so it is an important thing that the world depend on a lot.

Welcome board my friend , we all love the internet so mutch and we can not live without it , it has its own touch in life of each of us , there are who take it as a way to make their living such as working in big companies which depend on communication with others companies , people who earn many from the net like us ,...
generally , the internet has us ,and we have it as the most easier tool to saticsfact our needs.

hi frends.....i cant...i cant....even i cant imagine live wid out internet....everyday i sti infront of the oc for more than 12 hours......and i use internet in that 12 hours......wid out internet we cant know fastly wats happening around the world....u can make frends.....u can have a chat wid ur frends....and lots lots of other things u do in internet......internet is the part of my life.....thanq....happy mylotting...

Also one of us , welcome to board my friend ,the internet plays so many roles in our quotidien life , private or social one too , every where we go we find the magical word "the internet" none can escape from it , we use it as mutch as we can not separat from it .. so there is no solution , I think .

You know what? I honestly think it would be very difficult for me to live without the internet at this point. I honestly don't know what I would do to fill my time that I use to do stuff online. My life would be a lot more boring, I believe. I don't have all that many close friends really. At least not ones who live close to me and I do love to chat online to people I wouldn't have been able to due to how far apart we are.

We do all believe on the same thing my friend , as I've been saying , it is really so difficult to be independant from this communication way , it takes a large and huge space in our lives , and each of us is realted some how to this invisible world ,..any why you are one of us the new generation who grown up with the internet .

Yeah I agree with you , it is impossible , as every body says , it is thought to believe that it would be a live without internet ,if it were the whole word would be damaged , no communication , no connection between people , the whole world would live pieces non-connetcted.

SO cool , how can you do that? without internet and without cellphone !! if you do not use those two communication tools how would do to communicat with the external world ? it will be so thought ,so difficult .. so at my mind , people can not just let those things down , they will be relatived to it some how.

so am i ,i can not live even a day if have no interent ,because interent is so important in our daily lives ,we contact with interent all the time ,take me as an example ,i am a student now ,so i often scan international news online each day ,it is helpful for me to learn the world and foieign people .and i often downland musics and play online games using my own computer .si i do not dare to imagine how to live my life if without interent .

The internet still the only ressource who can give services to all people , the old ones , young ones ,.. it is accessible easly , and it is very rich of information ,beside , most of things now , we do it on the net ,or by using it, studying , searching , meeting even datting can be online .

Like what I've said before to the other members , we all can not live in a world where the internet doesn't exist , because we grew with it , it is a part of our cultur and an important thing in our life , the social one and the private one , it is a tool which makes things easier to do .

Yeah , you're right my friend , I agree with most of what you've said , the internet is so nessacery for our lives , specially in those times , all people do use it for different raisons , e.g. chatting , managing their works , getting information , news .. so it is impossible to live without it , even kids now use this tool for playing , doing their home works , speacking to their friends ... it has a big role in our life.
