We always put up all of our Christmas stuff the day after Thanksgiving. It is a nice long weekend, and my husband has the day off, so it is a nice day to do it. Usually I am a bit tired because we host Thanksgiving, and I do almost all of the cooking myself. But it is also nice because we have all the left overs and if we want to take a break from decorating to eat, all we have to do is heat things up.

Hi baleleng2008! We have already set up and decorated our Christmas tree in our living room and started turning on our Christmas light every evening. Though the street are not yet decorated with Christmas decoration (it's traditional here in my city where every barangay have their own idea of decoration whether lanterns, christmas light, etc.) I can feel the spirit of Christmas season. What I really like about Christmas is the thought and idea it bring to the people. They say it is the season of LOVE, where every people wanted to please one another that even mortal enemies are making up and pardoning one another. People are also becoming concern with their less fortunate neighbors or people around them. The changes that Christmas brings to the heart of many people is the best thing that I really love with it.

HI Leng, advance Merry Christmas! Don't forget my gift okay? Used clothings will do as long as its given heartily. Well, here in the Philippines when you're in the mall, you will really feel the spirit of Christmas already, and you can hear Christmas songs over the radio. That's why I am thinking about those people who could possibly send me gifts, especially those that are in the USA. After all Christmas is the season of sharing and giving right? At home we already have a Christmas tree minus the lights...

haha wow, that is really too soon! In America we usually wait until mid November, and things are definitely up by the day after Thanksgiving, that is when the Christmas music starts rolling in the department stores. I work in retail, and we already have Christmas items out, like Christmas baby clothing and even those fake Christmas trees. Once the first frost hits and people start feeling the cold air come in you have to expect that stores will shift everything to Christmas time, the transition is coming upon us fast. I kind of wish that it didn't come so soon, because by the time Christmas does come I am already sick of all the Christmas music and items, it's kind of spoiled. Now if they waited until perhaps a week into December, or at least until December, I would love to hear the music and think of Christmas celebrations so much more. Ah well, what can we do haha. Happy mylotting and have a great night or day.
