Seriously, this is the kind of thing people are spending time on? Boy, PETA would hate me. I live in Texas where we have A LOT of cockroaches, and they get REALLY big. I kill all the cockroaches I come in contact with because I think they are heinous awful critters. Now honestly I would rather be eaten my ownself than to put one of those nasty things anywhere near my face, but that's just because I hate them and not because I would feel in any way or shape sorry for them. Why don't they go buy ice for some polar bears or do something else productive. Standing up for cockroaches is a really big waste of time in my book.

I just don't think it's healthy to get so caught up in animal rights. I love animals I have more pets than a lot of people, and I hate to see animals being mistreated, but I think that most of these animal rights activist just take things way to far

What I don't understand is why or why would people want to each cockroaches in the first place! The idea of doing so makes me puke, not because I want to save the lives of these repugnant critters but because the thought of eating them is disgusting. Who knows, but in this case, it seems that PETA may well have done these people a favour!

First of all, eating cockroaches of any kind is probably my worst nightmare come true, so yeah, Six Flags definitely would have frightened me with that! Second of all, PETA seriously needs to get a grip. Where have they been during the Survivor episodes and other related reality shows where contestants have to eat horrible, live creepy crawlies?! Ridiculous! Maybe they did try to make a fuss about it and got paid off by the networks to keep their mouths shut! Okay, I'm just speculating here, and that's not fair, but seriously, they're roaches! They've survived through the extinction of the dinosaurs, and they'll probably survive through the extinction of the human race (though for some reason I think humans are pretty adaptable creatures that might just be able to survive something like that), according to many scientists' theories. That's like saying if my dog pees on the floor I shouldn't reprimand her! Ludicrous! I like what I heard this guy say in my office the other day, "The dog didn't ask to come inside." In other words, leave its a$$ outside! It has a fur coat! Okay, so that's a little off topic, but I think you get the picture of where I stand in regard to this. I bet Six Flags ticket sales would have gone through the roof if it weren't for those meddling PETA ba$tards!
