Are your eyes nearsighted?

Hello every one on mylot.when i was in high school my eyes have been nearsighted.this year i was just nineteen years old. nowadays my myopic eyes degree is six hundreds degree.today a great deal of young kids have been nesrsighted when they are in junior school.are your children's eyes nearsighted?how.we can avoid this problem.please give your advice.thank you.

I am near sighted and I have been wearing glasses or contact lenses for years. I am finding now, that I am getting older that when I have my glasses on, I need to remove them in order to read close up and if I have contacts on, I need reading glasses! Weird...

Yes, I am nearsighted. I have it since I studied in the high school. Because of the heavy study pressure, I became to have the nearsighted eyesight. It seems it's common to be nearsighted. My husband works in the IT field, however, his eyesight is perfect. It's not fair:) I think if children are allowed to have more outdoor activities and have less study pressure and homework, this situation will change.

i've been nearsighted since i was in second year high school. at first my teacher moved me to the front of the class but i was too tall so my mom decided to have my eyes checked. my eyes are 500 grade on the right and 250 on the left.
