I Love My Mom But I Don't Get Along With Her!

She's the negative type of person. I also have my struggles, like her I am a single mom and I don't need anyone to pull me down especially her. She has a great impact in my life, she is my mom after all. I believe in myself but sometimes she can turn it around and make me feel mediocre because of she sees life.

I go through the same with my mom, but there are things that I just keep to myself. Seriously; I live with her, but there are times when you don't have to let her know everything your doing. when I started dating again recently, I didn't talk about it to her until I felt a bit better to broach the subject and it worked itself out.

Hi we have the same experience but I tried to look at the good side of my mom. I erase the fact that she is negative. It felt good. Now we are in good terms.

I've had similar problems with my dad over the years. He loves me, I love him, but he can crush my spirit very easily, and he doesn't see it that way at all. We are very different, and I know he'll be there for me, but I wish our relationship were different. I am sorry you have to deal with negativity when you already have a lot on your plate. I hope she can turn it around and become a positive influence in your life.
