Reading -a passion or just hobby

it is just not a passion but a very important aspect for gaining the knowledge, which is the only weapon, stronger than the nukes. I love to read. NOT just in the print media, but also online. I have downloaded loads and loads of zipped files, including TOM SAYER, and such other epics. I have also joined circles and groups, like the CRIMSON CIRCLE, which talks about UFOs, Extra Terrestial beings, Star Visits, ASTRAL TRAVEL, clairvoyance, telepathy, etc, etc. I have been gathering knowledge from reading, about MEDICINE, ALTERNATIVE practices, Traditional methods, Para-normal, etc. So, reading is truly a method of LIVING for me. Well I think it's both :) but it is also like an obligation to me to exercise or stimulate my mind.

Definately a passion. I love to read and would gladly read a boolk a day! I read a variety of books. I like romance, mystery, drama, funny, historical, scary, psychological. Just depends on my modd. Generally I will not read a book a second time.

Reading is a passion of mine, but I guess it could be called a hobby as well. The kind of books read most often is fiction. I especially like junvenille/young adult literature. Reading is a pretty big part of my life butiwouldnt call it a passion. Its more than just a hobby aswell becasue i sometimes spend giant portions of my day reading.

Literature and learning are lifelong passions of mine. Book and publishing have also been a big part of my working life. I am never bored of reading and I do it every day. I read books mostly for pleasure now, but I always like being informed and adding to my knowledge. I also appreciate good literature and I can enjoy reading classic fiction more than once or twice.

for me, reading at first is a hobby eversince when i was in 3rd grade. i love to read very much especially classic and romantic novels. time to time my hobby becomes passion. I do usually borrow books than to buy.

Reading to me is a passion and a hobby. As much as I love to settle on the couch with a comfy blanket and a novel, I don't always have the time I would like. In that case it's a hobby. But then there's those times when I come across a book that I can't put down and it goes everywhere with me and my nose is stuck in it every second I have. Reading is a passion in this instance and more often than not it is a book I will reread time and again. The "A Child Called It" series is just one of those that have become a passion. It is a definite must read series.
