What was the best gift you ever received in your life?

I have lots of gifts that I have received but the best I got was a simple Rosary that I hang in my bedroom. When ever I look at the Rosary, I am reminded of the person who gave it to me. She was a grandmother of one of my students who bought me and my co-teachers rosaries when she once had her visit in Rome.
After years, i still have it and it hasn't changed. There are gifts that are so simple but the thought in them is so precious that we value it that much. The value of the gift doesn't matter but the thought that accompanies it is what counts.

I know it sounds materialistic but the best gift I ever got was the car my father bought me for my high school graduation. It was a 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo and it was taxicab yellow! Yuk! He told me to go to the car lot and find one I liked and I got a white one with blue interior. I ended up keeping that car for all 4 of my college years. Then I decided to hand it down to my younger brother. He asked me when was the last time I changed the oil - I said, "Changed it??? I put oil in when it was low!" He had to get a new engine for it! I'm lucky it never locked up on me - in 4 years!! Pretty good car, huh? To this day, I am a big Chevy fan, having owned 6 over the years - although now I'm driving a Hyundai Tiburon.

my best gift i've ever recieved in my entire life is my one only love, my partner, who have changed my life. God gave him to me with a purpose. he taught me how to stand on my own feet, he taught me that the best thing in life is not the luxury nor the splendor.

The best gift I've ever gotten? Hm...I have so many. ; ) I've gotten so many things. @.@ I like all my gifts, and I can't choose a favorite at all. ; ) One of my special gifts is a locket. Another one is a light blue / white sword. ; ) I also have a bunch of others I can't name right now that were special to me. ; )

The best gift I have received is my engagement ring from my now-husband because this was not just a beautiful ring but it was also a promise of so many things. :)
I also loved my dad's LV gift to me hehe!
