My life-long dream is to start my own business. It comes naturally since three quarters of my family owns their own very successful companies. I'm still juggling with ideas for my business, but whatever I do, I know I will make a success of it!! I have the background and first hand experience of what it is like running a business, because I've been working for a family business for almost 4 years now where I need to take the lead very often. I know it is not all fun and games, I know it takes hard work, huge responsibility and is very time consuming. I am studying part time but I don't want wait till I'm finished to start going on my own. What do you think? Is it crazy for me to start my own business now? Should I wait for graduation?

Thanks, you are right, everything requires time, it is about prioritizing and making the most of the time you have.

Why not? If the opportunity is now, then it would be better to grab it. No? Unless of course, you can wait then it would be better to wait. I sure hope I had your kind of pre knowledge in handling a business. I have ideas that I cannot turn into reality. And am frustrated because of it. Reading books ain't helpful as I do not know who to approach to get my idea off the ground. With your background and possibility of a family backing, I would go for it if the opportunity arises.

I believe that there is no perfect time to start a business. But there is a perfect business for you,a perfect market for this business, and a perfect approach on how you will suceed.Nothing could go wrong in a perfect business plan,if and only if you will excert all your efforts there. If you feel that you found the perfect business, your courage is enough,go for it.preparations is a must,if your ready, then go. Goodluck to your business venture!
