Creating a splash page - Which program

I have been told by a fellow mylotter that I should point my traffic sites to a splash page. Can anyone recomend a good site to create one? What all do you put on it?

A splash page is traditionally the opening "load" screen for a Flash based site, is that what you have?

Some places charge for a splash page. But they are useful. Only you know what you want to promote. That would be what I would place on it. try here http://www.ipodiums.biz/general.html . Some place give you space for a short time for free. http://www.discwritecd.com/splash_pres.htm
