Stonyfield Farms Black Cherry review

Now, probably even more than blueberries, I love fresh cherries. I would probably buy them year round if I could find them, but they are much more seasonal than blueberries. So, finding a cherry yogurt that looks like it might be an honest cherry flavor was quite appealing to me. and lets pull the lid! it says its another fruit on the bottom but I do see things in the yogurt up top its got lots of fruit on the bottom not too cherry tasting tho, the yogurt kind of overpowers it - I guess thats why I never see cherry yogurt? the yogurt isn't too tangy either, actually the whole thing is kind of a sweet nothing. Even chewing on a bit of cherry is nothing. Well, it isn't bad, but honestly, not much to review either - how disappointing

Hi Elic, I am very picky when it come to yogurt...LOL! Unlike in our Country where I can get great mango flavor so here, I didn't explore a lot of flavors yet!

The roomie tells me that mango taste kind of like peaches and since I had a bad reaction to peaches I've been off them, so I haven't eaten mangos. Probably they really taste like mangos, but ... hey people say kiwi taste kind of like strawberries and I don't see that

I like that you are giving good honest reviews. I have written product reviews and published them on AC but never for yogurt. I too like cherries and now I know I probably would not like this prodcut.

Yeah, that was very disappointing. Oh, and I'm nothing if not honest!

I have had black cherry by the walmart brand and it actualy tasted like cherries. I have never tasted any other that tasted that real and it had actual cherries in it too? Very good

I did find one large chunk of cherry that still had more then a vague memory of cherry in it, but that was it. I wish the Great Value brand was corn starch free, but it isn't.

When I lived in Vancouver I could only get Safeway's Black Cherry yogurt... in "diet" which meant artificially sweetened. Couldn't find red cherry yogurt, in any brand, and certainly not with regular (sugar or honey) sweetening. Don't know why, and don't know if it's still the case (it was 13 years ago, after all). That yogurt, and chewing gum, are the only two things I've found that don't leave that nasty aspertame aftertaste.

I actually don't mind the aspertame taste, but then again, I am not bothered over much by Sweet and Low either.

I was very sad that the yogurt was so tasteless - didn't taste bad, just didn't taste like much of anything.
