I always wash my kitty in the bath tub.Kitty is always good when it is washed. It feels very fresh and active when it is washed regularly.Cats demand washing their body but we must know their signs.Apart from play they need hygiene and need some good amount of care apart from personal fun that we have with our kitty.Washing kitty is very good enjoyable hobby too.

None of my four cats get bathed by me. I would take my life in my hands if I even suggested it to them. Cats are very clean and bathe themselves constantly. Repeated bathing removes essential oils from the cats skin and can produce many dermatological issues such as over grooming and dry skin. At least use a shampoo made just for cats.

Wow, what kind of kitty do you have? I rarely hear of people who wash their cats because they always wash themselves, but cats with long hair need more attention when it comes to keeping them clean. I once had a cat named Chester who would jump in the shower with me and he let the water spray down on him, happy as can be.

You are a braver soul than I. I am personally attached to my skin and don't want to bathe a cat for fear of having some of it removed.

I am never washing my cats, they know what the bath is, because more than once I tried to teach them how to swim in the lake, however only what they usually know it is a shower from time to time - when they are coming back inside after the downpour...

My kitty hates bath tub! But she's too naughty sometimes. She would rolling on the floor or explore any "secret" dirty place, and obviously doesn't want me to stop her for "having fun". So I wash her regularly. She does seem to like her body when it's clean though.

I give my kitty a bath every month. I put her upside down and dunk her in the deep end of water until she meows and screams. LOOL I'm kidding. No, but anyways -I will bathe her with a small tab of conditioner so her coat is clean and shiny. Then when I'm done I rinse, and lay her on a towel to wrap her with it so she dries off. I don't think cats enjoy bathing but she is used to it now. =)

Cats clean themselves and don't "need" baths.

Intresting that you call kitty bathing a hobby. I dont give my cats baths at all. I will bath my dog on the other hand because she has a habbit of rolling arround in the dirt. If you giving animals a both so mufh why not get into the pet grooming business then you could get paid for doing something you enjoy.

I only have one cat that likes to bathe. She only likes sponge-bathing though, not dunking. It's kind of a game for her. I get my hand wet and then pet her with it. She purrs and weaves back and forth across the sink. Once she's good and soaked, I get the towel out and she plays hide and seek underneath it. :)
