Will my Discussion Get DELETED because Some one SPAMMED it?

i have had two discussions get spammed since i started here and with spam i mean that some one put an add to sell something with a link as a reply..
i reported them so that mylot will delete their reply but now im wondering if they will delete the whole post since some people here have had it happen when a person replied with a referral link 
i dont think its fair if mylot deletes the whole discussion especially since it was doing ok reply wise and its always by people with like "0" or less than 5 points and so you can tell they just joined to spam everyone.. makes me almost not want to report them but since its just trash littering posts i think we should..
so whats going to happen? i cant for the life of me remember which post they were to look back (i post too often to remember)

I think only their post will be deleted not the whole thread. In one of my threads a user has copied a whole post from another user. His post wsa deleted only and not the whole discussion.

thank goodness.. it seems like they seek out good ones to do it too since im guessing they think more people will look or something

Na, just the posts will get deleted. The only time the whole discussion is deleted is if the OP has a referral link. That's the only time I've ever seen it happen anyway.
Idiots and their spam, people need to get a grip!

i have heard of some one not knowing why their discussion got deleted and i had seen it and they hadnt done anything wrong so he figured it was that..

I don't think it will. I know if you report the person who spammed their comments will be removed.

mylot really needs to work on just doing warnings period!! the lack of communication here is really a downfall but i think through every one communicating we have kind of figured out what is going on from each other lol
