Does McCain have a chance

I welcome McCain to keep talking about taxes, because the only thing he'll "nail" by doing so is more middle-class votes for Obama. And if you think Obama "is on thin ice" and that this nonsense about "past associations" is going to suddenly do him in, you should read this, wherein someone is quoted as being deceived into thinking that Obama was part of the Weather Underground himself, and is himself an ACTUAL TERRORIST, but that person is voting for him anyway because of his health care plan: http://clarusvisum.blogspot.com/2008/10/republicans-you-got-your-work-cut-out.html

McCain is roughly half a dozen points down in the polls and yes he is losing at this time. But a 6% deficit is not insurmountable if there is a sudden extenal event, but I think we will need more than simply Joe the plumber to constitute an October surprise. Certainly it is difficult to see McCain winning a this point, but who knows, particularly if there is a Bradley effect out there that is not detected in the polls

I wish I could say that McCain doesn't have a chance, but anything can happen.

Of course McCain still has a chance. There is so much that can happen and polls are misleading. When I see a poll I want to know who they asked. I mean have you ever been called for a poll? I was for an issue about casino gambling here in Ohio but never about the presidental election. Don't count McCain out. It would be foolish to do so.

I wish McCain did have a chance. But really unless something MAJOR happens I do not see it happening.
