Do you call this gosshipping?

Often my friends and I get together and we start talking about other friends. We would say something like: " you know so and so getting divorce. he has a new gf. So and so come out and she is a lesbian. And we all say: oh that's cool.
To me it's the only way I have news about my friends , because some of the friends you are not so close and you want to know about them. I think it's ok when you don't have any judgement attach to it. It's just like listen to cnn news. you hear it and you forget about it.
It's when you have judgement, it's wrong. Because everybody is different. an it's not up to you to judge. We call ourself the cnn news room.
When I told my friends I quitted my job to work on line and had no idea what am i to make they all said I was crazy. The news travelled all over. Even friends I haven't heard in a long time emailed and asked if it's true.lol

I think that is what all friends do. They get together to gossip about their other friends. We see it as a way of keeping up on our friends, but it is gossip. I do it too. I bet everyone does.

Of course it is gossip. Have you thought of it that if thsi same friendwith whom yo were discussing another friend, meets up with theat friend what would they talk? naturally they will talk about you too. i am sure you would not like it.
