Do you consider your dog or family pet part of your family? We do. Our dog Piper is considered one of us. To prove my point I have posted a picture of her enjoying a game of Sorry with us on Family game night! She is so spoiled. But she is my "child".

Absolutely. I have a red heeler, collie cross named Cassie along with 2 cats Rosie and Friday and a bird called Bert and they most certainly are members of the family. I consider them in the same way I consider any other family members. I leave lights on for them etc.. As you say they are like my children.

I think it will apply for us to put the question othe way round! Do our Dogs consider us as their family members? LOL!! We are three inmy family Myself, my wife and one son! My son was i Hostel for his studies levaing both of us at home to stay with seven Dogs! All these Dogs are having the ultimate ruling at my palce. They wander in my house freely and recklessly they want to sleep in the room where there is Ac on. A cosy place to sit in winters which is obviously our Carpet! They do own the whole responsibility in making the carpet so shabby. We are living on a farm they roam around the big farm more than 100 acres and then ll enter the hoselike Lords to spoil whole carpet! But then to tell you the truth we enjoy all these activities by them ,as these keep our moods elevated keep our spirits high1 Thus we adore our Dogs and they are not only our family members but much more than that! we can't eat or drink if something goes wrong with them! TYhey are funny, intelligent, friendly, cute, naughty, if I go on adding adjectives to describe them posssibly I will find it difficult to end this discussion! In nut shell they are everything to us! Thanks!

obviously,a pet is like a family member for me.to say more,it's ma friend as well. i have been worrying about it so long without seeing him.so what could be the the reason behind this attraction for him, sure he is also a part of our family
