Hi there! Oh, I love Balut. Like all of it. My son who is a 3 year loves to eat balot too. He loves to sip the soup and put salt in it. In our family, all of us loves balot. I just cant understand why there are a lot of people who doesnt like it.

Hi. mariagabriella. I could never eat anything like this at all. I won't have a stomach for it at all. There is just no way that I could eat something as yucky as this. I will never accept the challenge of eating balut.

Hi! I don't quite like balut, though, I haven't tried it yet. Just seeing it was quite enough for me not to try eat it. So, I prefer to eat penoy than balut, even though they said that it is more healthy and nutritious. I remember, when I was a kid, my dad always buy on the vendor at night, he keeps telling me to try balut, but I stubbornly denied him and told him to buy me penoy instead or chicharon.

hello mariagabriella! I love eating balut too and just like yours, I don't eat the chicken part also. My sister love it though so whenever we are eating balut, I will pass it to her and I will just indulge myself on eating the soup and the yellowish part.

Hi there. I love eating balut. I can eat the whole thing but I enjoy balut sa puti. Balut sa puti is the younger egg, i think just 15 days so the beak and the feet is not fully developed yet. I am craving for one now and I hope I get to see a vendor later. I saw that in Amazing Race Asia too and many challengers where vomiting because they are not used to eating it. I also like penoy but I think it is more like an ordinary egg, just bigger I think. I think balut and penoy are now available in another form. They can be eaten in fried version, the one coated with an orange flour and dipped in vinegar. Happy posting and eating. ;)
