If not, is it because of religious reasons or something else?

I don't have kids yet but when I do I would let them go ONLY if I went with them. I wouldn't want them wandering around the streets by themselves. I am catholic, and even though halloween is evil, I still think it's just a bit of fun and there's nothing wrong with it.

I agree, I wouldn't want my kids just roaming around. And I think it is harmless too, because they don't know that it is evil. The just want some free candy lol

I do let my daughter go trick or treating. Although, I do more of traditional Halloween stuff than the commercial BS that it's become today. Many people forget the history of it, and with my religion, it's important to me to go back to those roots. My daughter may like the commercialism of Halloween, but she understands all about Halloween and where it came from.

I don't have kids but if i did there would be no way i would let them, too many strange people around these days and i just don't think it is good for kids to be going arouns knocking on doors, neighbours don't know each other like they did years ago and even the fact that some people do funny things to the lollies they give...no way, not these days, too many sickos out there.

I live in a small town and my kids go trick or treating. I think though that if I lived in a big city I would be less likely to let them go. There are too many people that do stuff to the candy that can hurt kids.

My kids will not go trick or treating (I dont have any kids btw, Im just 16 :P but when I have kids they wont) for religious reasons, there is too much demonic power in October and I dont like encouraging it. :)
